Lunch at Takehana : Ramen shop at Auto- City

The crowd was sparse as my banker friend , P took me out for a lunch at this ramen food joint.  We ordered different types of ramen , maki , chicken teriyaki etc.  The outlet is a very good ramen shop and have been existence for a few years already at the same site.  I have been there  numerous times with different people.

At this auto-city, there are many eateries  like old town café , Soho, Golden triangle, starbucks , Coffee Bean and several banks. There is also a Bah Kut Teh shop at one of the corners.

After finished eating, we talk about the political situation in Malaysia, the EU problem and economic slowdown in China. But, the hottest topic was the coming Malaysia GE13 election.  Like all of us, he favors a change in the Government but the change should be decisive and a majority to either sides.  If  the outcome of the election is a simple majority , there will be a lot of political frogs which could change the political scenes and eventually, it will spell trouble for Malaysia.

Stability is the most important issue and without stability, it will be like Thailand in the past , full of demonstrations and bad political publicity.  It also ends in chaos unless the change of Government is smooth.  So , in the end , the red shirts won a majority ie 60% of the votes and luckily, the change of Government was slow.

In Malaysia, we hope the same will happen and if the outcome is decisive, the change over should be smooth and clear.  It is pointless to create trouble  and drag down the country and caused serious damages to the Country.  If the current Government lost this round , then they can wait for the next round.  It is very good to have a two party system for the country.  At least , there is check and balance to ensure transparency and well being for all.

We pray for such outcome and for political maturity for it to  happen.

Namaste.
