The pains of a sleepless night

Sleep is very important. Early and ample sleep is vital for good health and well-being. The time of sleeping is for the body to repair the damages to the body. Healthy body promotes healthy mind and vice versa.

Everybody remembered that we should have at least 8 hours of sleep to have a restful body and promotes good health through thousands of articles on this subject but yet, people abuse their body knowingly or unknowingly.

Most of the time, we have the chances of ample rest except in some strange circumstance like flying back from Chittagong via MAS flight. The flight left Chittagong at 11pm and reach KL at 3.30pm.  My trip was an unexpected trip and the flights on TG and SQ were full because of the year end holidays. I have no choice and it is not because of the cheap fares due to the odd hours in the morning.

The flight and the timing make sleeping an impossible task and it was really damaging to health.  One night of bad sleep could have deep impact on our health and depends on our age and health conditions. What if it is a few nights of bad sleep? It will take a long time to heal and recover .  Hence, we should avoid such flying arrangements which is cheap  but damaging  to our health.

If we cannot sleep, our mind will be wondering  and it use up all our energy and make us tired and worn out. Without ample rest, our heart will be stress out and different parts of our body could have been punished because of the odd positions of our body postures.

Yeah, life is tough and such events sometimes could not be avoided and we should make efforts to let our body recover as soon as possible and bring our body conditions back to our optimum level.

Namaste.
