The reason for the purchase of the two submarines coming from the Naval Chief is the real joke of the day and make us LOL and look incredibly childish. If we want to justify our actions, we have to be creditable and think of a solid reason so that it can be believable. If this reason is mend to make us laugh or it is a joke, then at least poke some fun in it. Like the movie, Back in Time , when we can change the history of the attack by the Portugese. We can put these submarines to good us in 1511.
From this reason, we are going back in time to 500 years ago and is this the mentality we are having or going back to ? Why not going back to the Stone Age? Making the world laugh and we laugh along with it ? Hahahax
Why are we only purchasing the submarine to protect the west side ie attack from Indonesia. During the confrontation between Malaysia and Indonesia, the attackers came by air borne and the paratroopers were air dropped into Malaysia. Who are you kidding ?
What about the attack from the East side ie Vietnam, Thailand , China etc ? Are we protecting the west side and open from the East side ? How many more submarines are we going to buy? Strategically, it is all wrong.
As a tax payer, I am really horrified at the way my tax money is been used. I am getting very upset at the childish reasons and the awesome wastage by the Current Government. Can you tell us the real reason and not making us looks like monkeys on a banana tree.
