Today, I read a news article from the author of the blog Sumptuous Erotica. She defended her action by saying that posting her nude photographs and video on her blog is a private matter between her love and herself. I would like to judge her action because there is a saying " judge not , otherwise be judged by others".We have different standards in our life and we have to learn to accept it.
Not judging does not mean that I do not have my opinion. This is not a judgement but an opinion. Vivian , the author said that it is common for the Westerners to post their n naked photos or their sexual acts in their blog but we are living in a different part of the world and in a total different culture or upbring. Yes, I agreed all human being should have the same value because if we take away our skin, it is only blood and muscles and the color is gone. But having said that we should not infringe onto the rights of others. When I say the right of others is the access by young children as all the parents have the right and responsibility of the upbringing of their kids.
Yes, the blog is a private space but it is accessible by all and we can argue that only those willing are welcome to access to our block . This is true for the matured or the grown ups but nowadays, young children are so computer savry and they can see alot of things which maybe mis-interpreted by them.
Out of curiosity, I went into the blog and I could see obscene photos and their remarks. These photos include picture of sex acts , private parts and blow jobs in action, etc. Such acts could be imitated by the young ones and lure them into such activities and get their life ruin in the process.
In the West, the sex educations are very much advance than in our conservative Malaysia and even if we argue that it is part of the sex education , then the way it is portray in the blog is very diisorganized and wrong.
My advise to this blogger is that they should lock it up and only give restricted access to those legally matured people. Of course, we have the right to run naked on the streets or do sex acts in anyway like the animals but it will hurt the people living beside us. No man is an island. Often, we forgotten about others but only ourself.
Like what Dalai Lama said " If we cannot help others, then the minimum we can do is not to hurt them". This advise applies to both intentional or unintentional acts. Lets live life conscientiously.
