Unpure heart - the vicious side

Money is power and greed graps money to enhance power.  This is the logic of it all.  Money can change everything including a pure heart.  And more so, strengthen the viciousness of an unpure heart. The fundamental nature of human being.

Often, there are plots, counter plots or intrigues and back biting in the battle over wealth. How is it possible to maintain a pure heart in the face of money. It is impossible not to be influenced by the smell of money when it has gone into our pocket and to take it out, it will take enormous courage and effort.

In order to exercise control over greed, we have to look at it hard and get ride of it fast if it does not belong to us. To learn and train the mind to exercise control over the greed and be aware of the negatvie karmas that is coming from such greed. Train ourselves to be aware of the consequences and the possible repercussion that  could arise from greed.  An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, that is the actual experience in life.

The law of  karma have the power to watch over an pure heart. Sow a good seed and you will get a good and strong tree. This philosophy and belief is  the guardian angel of an  pure heart.  It can also a teacher for an impure heart and make it return to the rightful path.

There are people who think that we can get over with it in this life and after death, it will be back to a zero sum. But the law of karma stretch through many life times and what is wrong in this life , the consequences could arise in the next or the following life time. We believe in this concept, then we will be able to maintain our pure heart or lead our unpure heart back to the path of righteousness and pureness.

Greed can only be controlled by God fearing souls or punishment beyond death or in death.  For the Christians, on the Judgment Day and for other religion, it will dealth with in hell or in a different dimension.

The outcome is uncertain and unclear but what we believe will make us aware and we will abide.

Namaste.
