Taking a day at a time

I have heard of a saying that life is good as long as you can eat and sleep well. Eating with good appetite and sleep like a log is something very basic but it is very illusive at times. When we lost our sleep, we lost our appetite and vice versa. Both are connected in certain ways and have direct impact on each other.

In the book " The Secret", there is a chapter which talks about be thankful for each passing moment from the moment you wake up, you are thankful because a good sleep the night before. You are thankful that you could open your eyes and see the day, you are able to wake up without pain, you can walk steadily to the toilet and you still have the teeth which you can brush and be able to use the water to clean your mouth. When you sat on the toilet bowl, you are able to release your shit smoothly and easily. You are able to see your loved ones and eat your breakfast with good appetite and you can read your newspaper without glasses and after dressed up and have a job to attend to and have a car to bring you to your office. You still can think well and work well and still can earm a salary to keep you and your family well.

There are many people who cannot do one or more of the things you can do everyday for one reason or another. These are basic actions or duties but you are very fortunate that you can do all these things with ease. You should treasure the moments and be thankful for what you have , the basics.

There are people who are born as the lesser children of GOD or there are people who have defects in the process of growing up. The basic functions becomes a difficult chorus for them to perform.

Yes, we should be thankful to GOD or our creator who have blessed us and provide for us to be able to do the basic things. There is wisdom that when we have feet, we are critical of our toes or the skin on our leg or the shaoe of our toes and legs until we see someone who have lost his both feet. We have to learn to be contented and appreciate the basic things that we are having and be humble and thankful.

So. live each day in perfection , think positive and live in contentment and happiness, for today could be your last in perfection.

Namaste.
