After a hard day's work

There is a chinese saying " we can die of physical exhaustion but we cannot think ourself to death". In another word, our physical body have limitations while our mind is much more flexible. Our mind can tolerate the 50.000 times of thought changes per day and if we push up for 1000 times, we will die of exhaustion.

How shall we recuperate from physical tiredness? Of course, we can rest and sleep and let our body recover over time. But, the faster recover is to put yourself in total relaxation and motivate your body to heal itself. If you can slip into a deep sleep than by all means but if your mind is restless while your body is tired, then these contrasting moods may only end in a restless and tired sleep. Its recovery will not be 100% effective.

There is a type of yoga called " green yoga" which helps to relax the body and mind and bring these two factors to the same harmonized mood and lettng the body to relax effectively.

The green "yoga" have a lot of breathing routines that relaxes the different organs in our body and bring the body to a total relaxation by syncronizing the same mood in the whole body. There are several technique like alternate breathing from the nose, slowing down the breathng by using your hands to touch the various part of the body and there are so many techniques we can use. But, basically, relaxing your heart and mind is the most important step. The mood in the heart controls the whole body and all its vital organs.

Remember it is important to harmonize the mind and body to enjoy total relazation. Slow down the heart beat and melt your heart to bring the same feeling to the whole body and it will affect the mind.

Enjoy your practise if you are attempting.

Namaste.
