MH370 - missing or lost?

MH370 -'lost or missing?

On my way to KL , I met a friend at the airport lounge . He was a lecturer for 'blue ocean strategy' and was also a duo time politician. He told me that he was involved with the committee to handle the next of kin for the MH370 passengers  in Beijng and he was on his way home.

He told me that there is still no news on the plane and it may take years to find it like the case of Air France but something have to be done for the families to move on.

In insurance, missing will kept the case pending and it is actually torturing for the next of kin and so the logic step is to declare the plane as lost. It is not only about insurance claims but the property and rights of the  passengers ie the execution if their wills, their salaries and benefits accruing to them. There must be a closure for those involved to go on.

But the difficulty is the acceptance of this conclusion by those surviving next of kin. How can they accept it when there is no evidence at all indicating the final fate I the plane and its passenger.

How can the authorities pacify the next of kin ? It is difficult for them to let go but a decision needs to be done for the better and at least, the show must go on. The world cannot stop at this point and however difficult, it has to be done.

RIP....for those missing .

Namaste.
