Right thoughts, Right actions and Right words - part of 8-fold path

I have been using these Buddhist precepts to judge the man of power in Malaysia.  These precepts are universal in all religions as these are basic guides in our daily life. However, common sense is not so common nowadays.

Finally, regarding the custodial deaths,  the right action have been done.  The police will be charged with murder.  It should have been done for all the past cases but due to the reluctance of the people in power not wanting to seek the truth, these cases have been "KIV".  For the latest case, there have been many objections and accusations while an independent investigation will be carry out, it forced the hands of the people in power to take the right actions. This is the time to be transparent and it came out as a positive result of the recent GE13.  To me, it is always good to have a two party system to have a check and balance on the behaviour of each other.

There is a saying "absolute power, corrupts absolutely " and this is very true to the words.

I also think that the Government is taking this mitigating step to soften the issues to arouse people's anger and make them support the Pakatan's Black 505 gathering on the 15th of June 13 in Kuala Lumpur.  This one issue , together with a whole lot of the issues could trigger the lighting point of people's displeasure to the actions of the Government.

The long forgot slogan of  " enough is enough" have re-surfaced to cause the situation to its tapering point. It is wise on the Government to defuse it before it gets out of trouble. Hopefully, the investigation should be true, fair and transparent. From now on, it is better to conduct our behaviour in a good manner reflecting good thoughts, good actions and using the right words.  It is a wake up call to the people in power.

Namaste.
