How to strengthen our core ? - Yoga

What is our core ? or where is our core ? Is it a point or an organ or part of our body?  It is not so complicated. It is a point located three fingers down from our naval. It is a point of strength.

My yoga teacher always asked us to be aware of our core or hold our core when we are doing the complicated pose like a head or a hand stand.  To hold our core is to pull in our core near to our spine and if we hold the core, we will be firm and our power will strengthen.

In Chinese, it is called the " Dan Tian". For those good singers, they could strengthen their voice if they have a strong "Dan Tian" and it is not from our nasal.

So , how do we strengthen our core or " Dan Tian". It is by a few pose  which is specially designed to strengthen our core:

1) By lying flat and lifting our legs above the ground.  We should check on the spot , I have mentioned earlier.

2) By push ups and if we hold our core, we can lift ourself up easily

3) By breathing out and pull in your core. It can refresh and rejuvenate your energy level.

4) You can repeat the step three in a slow count or a fast count and stopped at intervals.

The exercise to strengthen our core, can make us firmer and stronger as we stand or in our pose when we walk.  It liven up the whole body and refreshes the mind and body.

Just by practicing it , you could get high especially the step 3 & 4.
