A feeling of clarity.

Just finish my yoga class at the Botanical garden. Despite the aching bones, a cool light breeze was blowing and there was a sense of calmness, tranquility and clearness. I was fully aware of the moving tree leaves and the passing of time. There was so much of greenery and  fresh chi. It was a wonderful experience.

When I reach the garden, there was so many activities going on  in the garden. I could
see people practicing qigong, tai chi, jogging , walking and dancing. All at the same time like on a big stage. So many people doing so many things at the same time and living their own lives.I saw an aged old tree with its branches pointing strongly into the sky. That tree have watched a few generations of people passing before it and having hundreds or thousands of people staring at it over the years.  There will be many more thousands to come and visit this tree. The show must go on.

There are so many such beautiful things in this world. Many simple things or occasions like that to bring us joy. Such fleeting moments of enlightenment when our awareness  is at the peak to provide us the break through to have a moment of clarity. Such moments of clarity can be achieved through deep meditation or it can just happen when your mental and body conditions unite and harmonize at a certain moment.  You  can feel totally lighted up and become fearless as if you have a total understanding of the wisdom  and control of your life.

I will continue to seek such moments of enlightenment and will try to prolong it. I have been telling my friends that many years ago, I witnessed a walking mantra by a young European lady in a monastey in Penang. She walk 10 feet in 30 minutes. It is not an easy feat and you can laugh because it slower than a tortise speed. The tortise could beat the lady in a race.

But, the truth and the real purpose is to do a walking mantra at that speed or a slower pace  is an exercise of total control of  the body and mind. It is a superb achievement when everything is done in slow motion and been fully aware of the happening in our body with each motion.  It is like knowing the Tao and living in it. The body and mind in harmony with the heaven and earth. A prolong moment of enlightenment.

I am thankful for the grace to see this meditation in motion and the realization of the truth.

Namaste.
