Meeting friends at cross roads

I was at the airport today to bid my frieind farewell as he choose to migrate to Australia with his family and the airport, I meet my customer and a Thai friend which I had lunch yesterday. All at the same airport and same time.

Of course, there are such occasions like this happening  before but not so often. I was utterly surprise and I had to eat lunch with them at the airport.

Life can be so co-indental sometimes and for this rare occasions , we should not let it go easily but rather to enjoy the happening and be with your friends or customer. Such occasions could happen again in a long time.

All of us are so busy and in a rat race for wealth, we have little time to slow down to call up our friends. Even if we have the time but our friends may not be free to entertain us.

Life is very funny.  When we have the time and energy , we rush to make money but we have the money, we don't have the time and energy to enjoy our money. This wisdom is very real but few people can realized this point and make use of it.

Very often, our friends reminded us to spend sometime to travel and see the world but we focus very much on our job and career and we think that we would have the energy and legs to travel when we retire but when the time comes, we can hardly walk and our joints is so painful that we cannot enjoy traveling anymore.  We expect our health to be forever good and we can travel even after we retire.  This is a serious mistake for many people.

Anything can happen anytime, we must not be too sure and we have to realize that we have to do whatever we want to do as soon as possible.  Life, age , sickness and death is an unpredictable journey.

What goes around , comes around ..

What goes around, comes around

These few words means what you do to people , they will do the same to you. This is the law of karma.

Every often in our selfish way we think that we can get away by using people to our benefit and advantages or we gain from other people's misfortunes. But , it is matter of time, all these ill got benefits will have to be repaid now or in the future or in another life. You may not know what happen to you and why you have to live a dog's life . All you need to do , is to think deeply into you past and  acknowledge  what you have done wrong and repent.

Our ego make us see no wrong In our doings and we often wonder why bad things happen to us. We will never self depreciate our value and we see things in our way and measure things based on our understanding. Whatever we do is little wrong. All is because the bad things we do fell on another people and in no way , what can know what happen to others. Furthermore, what happen to us is never our concern.

It is foolish and not to see the truth and only see and hear what we want to see or hear what we want to hear. Very often our feelers and faulty and inaccurate. We must open our heart and mind to see what we have done and make sure we caused no harm to others if we cannot help them.

Don' have a mental block and receive what we want to receive and in this way, there is no room to mitigate and balance the negative demerits that we have done by stopping the injustice or wrongful act and do positive things to create more merits to balance off your demerits.

Life is full of merits and demerits and after balancing and netting off each other, what is left in the end will get to  you.

Trying to find what I have lost.

I had a lunch with a friend and he asked me about my musical past.  I was in a band for a number of years about 20 years ago.  Why did you give it up ? Well, I was caught in a rat race and I lost myself doing what other people are doing  ie making a living doing a job.

It was a wonderful time especially when you are among friends playing in a band. The bond was so great and we move in a union.  A lot of times, I passed through the house of my former band member while traveling to a shopping mall and I told myself that I need to stop and chat him up again. But , it never happen, all the rushing and priorities pull me back to have this leisure of meeting with my friends. I have lost myself in this materialistic world.

A few minutes before lunch today, I was at Bentley's musical instrument shop at Gurney Plaza. There were so many guitars of different design and sizes , drum sets, organ , painos ,etc and I took up a guitar to strum a few cords. It has been years that I touch the instrument.  My lunch friend joined me and we chat for a while about music and the chording pattern.  He told me that he has just taken up organ and he is learning it at his own pace. At 55 of age, he is taking up organ. Woh, what a fella !

Last Sunday, I went to my store room to retrieve my old organ and it was so old and its keyboard has changed into light brown colour from pure white.  I clean it up abit and I play some simple melody on it and I have to keep it because I am on the rush for another errand.  I left it on the table  and let it breath after so many years packed up in a bag. Another hopeful time to pursue my passion again but it maybe too late as I have forgot all the basics and I need to re-learn the function of my key board.

I felt sorry to have changed over time and putting my passion to the last of my priorities.  Time flies and we ended the way we are not but a changed person.

Living in this fake world

I have a good friend who always used the word " pura pura" which means " pretending or faking" in her expression.  I do not know her intention but I told her why we should fake our feelings and expressions.  In other words, we will be behaving like a hypocrate , lying to ourself and other people.

I thought only desperados will fake their feelings or change their self for others and suppressed their own identify.  Is it true that we can only live in this world so pretentiously.

Have we changed ourself while we journey through our life ? I think we have and most of us have lost the real part of ourself.  We acted to please others or live among others or to enjoy the company of others. The world have changed us and I do not know how many part of us are the original ones.

It is an inevitable fact that the stronger ones imposed over the weaker ones and the weaker ones will change more. It is like the big fish eat the medium size fish, and the medium size fish eat the small fish and the small fish eat the ikan bilis or the tiny fishes. The tiny fishes will have to change to live among all the bigger fishes.

Life can become so fake to live in this illusional world and everyone ended up smiling with their teeth jerking out like a monkey.  Smile is not from the inner but smile can be so fake that it can be disgusting and unreal. It is really a shivering sight to look at and sometimes , we want to puke....

We should attempt to go back to ourself to assure ourself of what we are and to keep the original to the tedious task of living in this fake world.

We have to strong to be the real us and to live the life we choose.

Failure of a business

When I was young, my mum told me that it is not good to have three as a partner for business as three leg chair is never firm. This is a logical analogy but even four partner business also have failed miserably. It is not about how many partners in a business but rather are these partners experienced business person ?  You can have ten business partners and you can be successful if everyone of them are truly business persons.

In Chinese sayings, it is very easy to manage a partnership or a company when it is making money but if it start to lost money, it will be very difficult the harmony among the partners unless they know where the business have gone wrong.  This understanding takes experiences to accrue.

Many business starts with good friends but they ended up as enemies or adversaries because of failed business or difference in opinion. We can be very naive to think that our friendship can survive the bad times or differences in opinion especially when the business have lots of problems.  These make make worst if there is no proper agreement or scope of work or roles for each participating partners. These gray lines are where it catch fires and spoilt the relationship.

Some business ended up in legal tussles , shouting match or bad relationship and even turn a brother against a brother or a father against a son. Of course, this situation can happen when the business is making or losing money. When we have make the money, we want power and we wanted more respect and then more money.  The greed has no limit and no boundaries.

It takes a lot of wisdom as a person to behave like good partners and being able to understand that life is hard and have complete trust when we face a severe storm and how to behave as good partners to survive the test of time and problems.

There is a wise saying " When you are successful, you have to remain humble and unchanged as a person" and this is a very difficult challenge in our life.

'Take a heart as a dog' liver.'

'Taking the heart as  a dog's liver '

This is actually a Chinese saying which means that when we offer passionate and loving gestures but the receiver take it as a poison or a negative tone. So, in Chinese culture , we say that the person has treat a kind heart as a dog' liver.

The heart to a person is very precious and a human being  cannot live without  the heart . That means comparing a human being to a dog's life which Is low in term of value.

In life, there are many such occasions when a kind gesture is often mistaken as an attempt to hurt the receiver.  This misinterpretation could happen in many occasions especially the receiver is emotional or a pre-set mentality or having some past experience ,etc. the giver of this ' hearty' gesture is often hurt deeply as their intention have been taken wrongly.

This happening can turn into a face off situation if the giver gets agitated and upset or the receiver is still adamant and hold on of their belief or mind-set. It takes two to tango and a reconciliation can happen if two is willing to listen to each other. Very often, the self ego stands in the way and stop any reconciliation effort.

If the value of friendship or the need for each other is low or not existing , the need to reconcile is not even there and there is no need for reconciliation.

Often we asked ourself, what is the value of friendship or a relationship? Why a light wind can blow apart a relationship while.a typhoon cannot break a relationship?
This depends on the bondage or need or a strong foundation of the relationship which also depend on need and trust.

It is really a waste to see some good friendship or relationship is spoilt by some wrong words or some emotional outburst. Such happening can be avoided and the foundation of relationship can have a chance to grow stronger.

Chinese Zodiac signs - By Chou En-Lai

Chinese Zodiac Signs – Meaning And Significance.

Zhou Enlai's witty interpretation of the zodiac to an audience of foreigners

It was said that Mr Zhou En-lai was once having a meal with his European friends.

A person by the name of Klaus passed an impolite comment when he was drunk.
You Chinese carry the signs of pigs, dogs, and mouse at birth.
“I can’t understand what’s going on in the mind of your ancestors?”

At that point, the distinguished group of friends started to laugh. They started to toast each other rowdily.
The cultured and serene atmosphere was broken.
Some people believe that when someone insults your ancestors, even if you don’t have a response to it, the least you could do is to overturn the table against him.
Fortunately, nobody acted rashly or in violence.
For a while, not a single word was uttered. It was probably because they have not come across this situation before.
Then, Mr Zhou En-lai stood up and spoke to everybody in a calm and peaceful way.
“The Chinese ancestors were very wise. They arranged the twelve zodiac signs in pairs. Six pairs in a cycle.
In this way, they expressed their hopes and wishes for the generation that came after them.”
By then, the room was in complete silence. There were some sceptical looks among the audience.
Mr Zhou En-lai continued, ” The first pair of animals is the rat and cow.

“The rat represents wisdom and the cow represents diligence. Wisdom and diligence must operate in harmony.
“If there is wisdom but no diligence in applying it, it’s foolishness.
“On the other hand, if there is diligence but no wisdom, it’s an act of folly.

“That’s why wisdom and diligence must go hand in hand. This is our ancestor’s first wish for us. The first pair of animal also represents the most important hope.
“The second pair is the tiger and rabbit.

“The tiger represents courage and the rabbit represents carefulness. These two qualities must work closely together.
“In that way, it can have a better chance to achieve success.
“Without carefulness, courage becomes recklessness. Similarly, without courage, carefulness becomes cowardice.
“This pair of qualities is very important. That’s why it is the second pair.”

Mr Zhou En-lai looked at the audience and then he added, “Therefore, when we demonstrate our carefulness, please do not think that we do not have the courage to fight for social justice.

“In truth, what our ancestor is pursuing is wisdom through integrity, harmony and balance. It’s never about a single hope or task.
When he saw that the audience was deep in thought, Mr Zhou En-lai continued, “The third pair is the dragon and snake.

“They represent strength and flexibility.
“Strength without flexibility becomes brittle. Without strength, flexibility becomes meaningless.
“That’s why strength with flexibility is an important lesson from our ancestor that has lasted through time.
“The next pair is the horse and goat.

“The horse represents the ability to gallop to success. The goat represents the ability to be considerate and have compassion.
“If a person only looks after himself as he pursues his goal and with no consideration for others, he will face obstacles from the people around him.
“Finally, he may not even be successful.

“However, if a person only looks after others and seek only to be amiable, he will not have a sense of direction. His goal will eventually be lost.

“That’s why the spirit of the horse and virtues of the goat must be applied in harmony with each other. This is our ancestor’s fourth wish for us.
“The next pair is the monkey and the chicken.

 “The monkey represents agility.
“As for chicken, as there were no clocks in the days of old, it is needed to wake humans to start a new day.
 “The chicken represents stability.
“The qualities of agility and stability must be tightly coupled together.
“If you have agility but no stability, your best plan will not come to pass. However, if you focused on having stability and refuse to change, you will not have a better future.
“When the two qualities are in harmony, on one side, there will be stability in terms of having, for example, effective system and collaboration.
“On the other side, there will be a release of unrelenting creativity and innovation to achieve progress.
“When these two qualities operate in synergy, it is one of the basic imperatives to achieve success.
“Lastly, we have the dog and pig.

“The dog represents loyalty while the pig represents good nature.
“If a person is loyal but does not have a good nature, he will be blindly following others.
“On the other hand, if he has a good nature but does not have loyalty, he will have no people and principles to guide him.
“That’s why whether its loyalty to a country, loyalty to a team, or loyalty to an ideal, you need to ensure that good nature is tightly coupled with and working alongside with it.
“In that way, you can have a deep-seated sense of loyalty that comes from the heart.
“This is why the Chinese believes that the outer core must be in alignment with the inner core (
圆内方,君子和而不同).
“At the inner core, we must have a pure heart that subscribes to high moral values. We must seek to live with ethos and positive principles.
“We must live up to our words and not do anything that will harm others.
“At the external core, we must be knowledgeable about the ways of the world. We must be wise in managing affairs around us.
“We need to focus on what matters in life and not be influenced by evil.
“We need to live with integrity and in harmony with others and the environment. We must not have any form of prejudice or seek to discriminate against anyone.”
At the end of his speech, there was complete silence. They say that you can even hear a pin dropped.

My stay at Fermount Hotel, Singapore.

Fairmont Hotel, Singapore

Last week , I was in transit through Singapore on my way back from Bangladesh. I was stuck in the airport for 5 hours waiting for the connecting flight. Yesterday, I came back to Singapore for business trip and I stay at the Fairmont Hotel and in a harbour view room.

My room on the 21st floor  could see the Floating Casino sitting on top of a few blocks of building . The Casino and the resort is called the Sands in Sinagoire.

The scene looks like a hurricane has gone through or a Tsunami have struck Singapore carrying this big ship and resting it on top of the buildings. At night, the whole area is lighted up with laser beams shooting up in the sky and the river below.

The whole area is where all the things are happening ie food outlets, the river cruise , entertainment , etc. a simple  walk by the river side would be refreshing and interesting.

The Fairmont Hotel is linked up to the shopping arcades and the LRT and there are so many pubs ,shops ,food outlet. The hotel rooms are brightly lighted up and it is quite new. The room arrangement is quite simple but have a fantastic view of the harbour and the Sands. It cost about S$350 per night including breakfast and internet access.

It has been a present stay for me and I could have a restful night. I hope Penang will be able to catch up with Singapore in the near future.

The fat clinic - my experience.

Excess fats - a little knowledge

Yesterday. I attended a briefing at slimming center together with my wife and daughter at London academy.
It was an experience and an eye opener. All the time , I have the impression that the slimming academy is using all sorts of chemical to reduce fats but I was wrong and these consultants are professionals. The briefing change my mind set totally.

The first thing they do is to have a body check and identify the area which have excessive fats . The leg, arm, stomach, etc. After identifying the fat profile , they will build a programme to attack these areas using machines , tools and diet programme to reduce the fats in these a areas.

In the slimming clinic, most of the clients are women and the consultant told us that some of their clients are regulars who have successfully completed their weight loss and continue their treatment as they need to keep their appearance for their career. I think it is not these reasons only but also health reasons .

Why are these slimming clinic is for female only? Why not man? Man also need to maintain their image and also their health for better living. This is another option to rebuild health apart from heavy work out in the gym or excessive running which can hurt our joints and body.

Traditionally in the Asian culture, man seldom go to a beauty parlor or a slimming center and the notion is that these centers are for the weaker man or 'SS'. This is wrong concept, the choice belongs to us . Some of Man have also tight work schedules and dislike exercise and this an additional option . Don't let others to dictate your life or the old honking block your happiness.

The image of a handsome , slim and healthy man is our choice and we should be open and do what we want to do to achieve  it if we can afford it. Break the mental block and be freely to do what we want.

For Asians, we are reserve and fearful in nature. We don't have to be, it is all within us to decide.

It will be a good  business if we can have a uni -sex slimming and beauty clinic for both man and women. It is time to change and we have to change just like me attending a slimming clinic talk. Looking like handsome and fit actors are not restricted for the few , it is available for all.

Go for it.

Dhaka airport - Jan 2014

Dhaka Airport - Jan 14

Sitting here waiting for the nite flight to Singapore. There is so much Mosquitos flying around . Worst off than the last time I was here six months ago. Bloody idiots sucking my blood.

To the locals, they have accepted it as their friend and they learn to accept it and live with it. Once , I told my friend that it will be a big business importing mosquito coils to drive away this blood sucking idiots but my friend told me that the coils have very short life as the Mosquitos gets immune to these mosquito coils very fast and they have to import stronger and stronger coils . Finally, it will also kill human beings as well.  Haiyooo, it is cheaper and safer to live with it .

Once , I read an article that a monk told us to be compassionate to all living things including Mosquitos. If we are friend to them , they will suck our blood once awhile but if we are hostile to them , they will attack us first upon seeing us. Woh! Mosquitos have brain already.

I want to tell you a story . When my father in law was younger , his house which he was staying was full of crows. One day, he decided to shoot marbles at them. One day, the crows attack him in a crowd.  This may happen woh the Mosquitos.

So, we have to live and lets live.

Happy Valentine Day 2014

Valentine Day

There is also valentine day celebrations in Bangladesh.  This is the day where people in the world expressed their love or admiration to each other or mainly from the male to the  female. In Japan, the female will give back a gift for the male in another day  in return.

The gift given are mainly flowers and chocolates. For the playful ones, they will give perfume and underwear or some thing kinky or personal.

There is huge amount of business transacted on this day and this is good for business. In a way, the business communities are promoting it directly or indirectly by promoting their products through advertisements.

For the passionate people, this is a chance to celebrate this day by showing their affections and love. There is nothing wrong with it and it is another joyful day. There could be rejections by the receiving parties but take it in good faith and be just satisfied with the chance to show it and know the outcome and move on.

For those people who succeed , we wish them luck and take the chance to grow the relationship further.  This is a point in time, where relationship starts or end.

In transition - Bangladesh

In transition in Bangladesh

I have been here in Chittagong for the third day now. The country is back to what it was before the recent general elections and  the period of political troubles and demonstration. I believe the people is fed up of the troubles and want back their normal life.

This season is the cricket season and the country is grip with cricket fever. The hotel I am staying in was heavily guarded as the national cricket players are also staying in the same hotel. In total, there are twenty over guards and policeman in the Hotel. These cricket players are like celebrities and rock stars and is mobbed by the general public.

I am here on a business assignment and having to spend the remaining CNY days in Bangladesh. Yesterday, I had a dinner gathering at the Chittagong club with my colleagues and some customers . We exchange talks about our feelings for the country and why we choose this country for investments and why the overseas Bangladeshis are coming to work in their country.

The conclusion is that despite all the political trouble , the country have a big pool of workers and a fast growing middle class who is hungry for wealth and success. This hunger is pushing them to move on to learn and expand.
The people is angry with the politicians and they only need stability to allow them to expand their business.

Don't underestimate the power of this hunger and many emerging economies is pushed by this similar factor.

Hopefully. Bangladesh will succeed and imy good wishes go with it.

The divorce option

Yesterday, I met a long lost friend, S and she got married for about three years and she got a child of two years old. She talk about her unhappiness with her marriage to her current husband as the idea of divorce came acrose her mind.  The main reason is that her husband is working in a foreign land.

When I heard of her view, I was quite taken back because she was only married for about three years and the difficulties of a marriage really bites her hard.  I asked her whether she still love her husband or not and she told me that there were certain incidents which make her see the true person in her husband. For example, her husband have severely scolded her mother a couple of times. To her, this is not acceptable as in Chinese culture, we have to respect the elderly. Sadly speaking, the culture of respecting the elders is really getting less in the Gen Y and Z era. The young of today is so independent, rebellous and stubborn and they have their own opinion in their live. The breed of young ones who respect the elders is getting less.

In marriage, there are imperfections . Simply saying, nothing is perfect and we have to live with imperfect world or the imperfection of others. Then , my friend asked me this question " why do we need to live for others ?".  Life is already too short and yet, we have to hold our feelings and hurt ourselves to maintain a marriage. Isn't that not worth it ? Yes and No.

Yes, we can choose to break away and choose the divorce route to live for your ownself and your off springs but you have to make sure your another half or ex-half bears the burden of providing for your off-springs . So, you have to make plan and strategies to get hold of such provision before the feelings gets to the triggering point. Otherwise, life would hard on you to bear all these expenses.

No. You have to understand the imperfections in this world and how you shall manage the imperfections. But again, it depends on the type of imperfections. If it is a cheating or a flaw character case or adultery , then it is not worth to save the marriage, if it hurts you too deeply or have breach your trust. All of us have moments of weakness and in love, there must be a lot of understandings.  If we choose divorce for every small weakness, then we will be like a hippie and it is better not to get married.

The question to me is that should she divorce her husband? I do not know all the facts and it is very difficult for me to advise her . But, whether she divorse him or not is not the matter, I suggest to took the correct steps to get the financial  details of her better half or lower half and get the security when the time comes or whether it comes or not , it does matter.

Currently, there was a long running chase in Sarawak , where a billionaire son is fighting to defend his right to the billion in his account in a divorce case. When the relationship gets sour, it will be too late and difficult  for either party to claim provision for financial support of their children especially the man  or the women is successful and smart.  It applies in both ways.

My point is based on my  experience and knowledge.  When the milk is sour, why we need to keep it ? It only hurts both parties and if it goes beyond the point of displeasure where the sight of each other is upsetting and hurting , it is time to go rather than keep hurting each other.

My rebellous daughter M

I have told my daughter that my love for her is unconditional even if she makes mistakes in life and as long as she realized it was wrong. From young, I have been pampering her with my time and also wealth.

When she was young, we took her to all the buffet lunch and dinners around town  and she enjoyed most the major and well known hotel's food and facilities. She grew from a skinny little girl to a tall and plum girl.  She was lax at school and we just take it at her stripe but she managed to pass her college diploma exams with butterfly, cats and dogs gradings.

Once, I noticed that her character also change to be very independent, rebellous and stubborn.  I do not know what is going through her mind and why she has been behaving this way.  If I pushed too hard, she will just withdraw into a shell and say nothing.

My offer of love and money can only get her to say thank you each time but she remained aloof and unaccessible.

Recently, she broke up with her boy friend for two years and I asked her why because I could see that her boyfriend have been very caring for her.  Her answer is that she need someone to love her the way she wants him to love her and not just someone been obidient and behave like a good dog. Yes, I kind of know what she mean but there is no such perfect partner who will know all her needs.  I doubted she will ever find one. Well, this maybe part of her process of growing up and her own protective mechanism.

Once, a friend told me that she will only grow at her own pace and sometimes, they refuse to use their thinking capacity. Until then, they will live like a free loader and have a layback thinking.  Hopefully, there will be a time in her life where she realized that she needs to invoke her thinking capacity. Like the saying goes " There is a time for everything . When it happen, it will happen and when it does not happen , then it mend to be this way ".

To her , I have my best wishes and hopefully, she knows what she is doing and where is she is going.
My love for her is still unconditioned.

Hypocrite face

There is a saying " we should appreciate people talking to us frankly into our face  but to be cautious of those talking badly behind us".  These are people is sheep skin or wolves in human forms.  These people are called hypocrites.

How can we identify these people ?  Hypocrites will show their true colors in time of difficulties or will abandon you in the first sight of trouble. They will fly off like birds in the forest at the smell of trouble. There is also a saying ' it is difficult to share wealth and it is more difficult to share sufferings'. True friendship is very difficult to find.

The Holy Dalai Lama have this wisdom to share " if you cannot help others , don't harm them". For hypocrites, they will paint a very good picture for you to venture and in times of trouble, they will leave you to face the trouble yourself".  So, there is harm to others.  This phase means not to advise or lead others into trouble as this means that you bring harm to others.

Smiling faces, poker faces and nice looking faces are only fronts to hide a cheating and evil heart and such evilness will only come out in time when their safety or comfort is threaten.  In short, when you are hanging by a thread , they will not lift a hand to pull you up because they could also fell with you.

So , beware , beware and beware of others who come to see you in time of fortune and greeting you with the sweetest of the sweet words and run away when they saw the first sight of a bad moon.

Idiots, idiots, idiots...

My hippie daughter, M

My hippie daughter, M

During the sixties, there was a period which belongs to the hippie years which a trend for free love, drugs like maurujuana and freedom  calls and song promoting free love. I was at my teens and I could see these girls with flowers on their head dancing and traveling around and fighting for their human rights and freedom. Another word for the hippies is the "flower girls".

Life was easy for them, no need.jobs , layback and lazy and wondering around with groups of hippies aimlessly. There is no purpose and aim in their life. They are born to be free and feed on alms and just live to die.

This period , was the years of the confused mind. No responsibilities for themselves and others .  Liberated in an unliberated world. They want to change the world but the world finally changed them and their period just die off.

They may not be entirely wrong but they have gone to the extreme and become unbalance. They have too much leisure and freedom and they thought that life is live to die. Not to live to ripe old age but die a natural death in whatever manner. Live and let live in whichever way you want and die whatever way you want. So carefree.

Another extreme is to work for our money and wealth and to responsible for our children. Sacrifice for our children and neglect ourself to be totally for the welfare of our children. Life is to live for others. This another misguided concept of life.

Life is to balance and live in moderation . Practice the middle path which is the balance way. If we live the extremes , we will suffer great sadness and great happiness . The point is from one extreme to the next extreme. There is little  variation if we choose the middle path. Forever constant. We are in control rather living in a wild swing.

My daughter M is not thing and have not got this great awareness as yet. There is not the time for her to think but to be trap I her hippy ways. Hopefully, there is a time for her.

A quiet moment - today

A quiet moment - today

I have been very hectic the past few days. Having to closed the year with some serious decisions before the year of the horse gallop in and I have travelled to KL on the 1st day of new year and back to Penang today. The long hours of traveling today make me  erg sleepy in the afternoon and I took a power nap before taking my dinner.

The travel from Penang to KL was smooth and blissful . It was so smooth with any jam while the cars from from KL to Penang was jammed packed.the return trip from KL to Penang was the same as the trip from Penang to KL. Blissful and smooth. So, relaxing but again, t was jammed from Penang to KL. Traveling in KL by car was smooth as the the traffic in most roads were thin and easy. I think this  trend I the traffics happens in most public holidays. If you have a good car, it should be an enjoying ride in these directions which  I have taken.

Now , I have a quiet moment to reflect on the happenings in the past few days. I had several rounds of good food, meet many relatives and friends, have a round of yoga exercise with my sister in law in her fitness center  and moving around the malls and shopping complex , a round latte and good conversations. All these activities were enjoyable including losing a couple of hundred ringgits in a social card game. It was like giving Ang pau to my nieces. Beautiful nieces.

Now, I have take a good rest to face tomorrow , the first working day in the year of the horse. Stay active fellas and enjoy every minutes.

Namaste.

My new year resolutions - horse year

My year of the horse 2014

I am from the year of the snake and according to the. Horoscope . I will have a busy year and I must take care of my health and needs to balance work with enough rest. For other things , there nothing exciting and opportunity for wealth is good,I do not know what will hold for the future but will keep these forecast in mind.

Last  year , several predictions were right and I was given more responsibility and have a very busy working year. I have trained up several young people around me and help me to achieve all the task give to me so far. I have to keep them near me and give them more responsibility and exposure.

Life is fragile and uncertain . I have to live every  minutes joyfully and meaningfully as I am aware that time is very precious and getting less I aged. I also know that it is within my will and decision to decide what to do with rest of it.  I have to remain useful and active and not to opt for an idle , layback and  wasteful life. I should concentrate to train the young and impart my  wisdom to them and guide them to a brighter future.

All these ideals are my new year resolutions and I should pursue them wisely and vigorously and to make sure it is all implemented sincerely.

To my readers , I will impart more on my valuable experience  and encounters in my life to all of you.

Namaste.
