My stay at Fermount Hotel, Singapore.

Fairmont Hotel, Singapore

Last week , I was in transit through Singapore on my way back from Bangladesh. I was stuck in the airport for 5 hours waiting for the connecting flight. Yesterday, I came back to Singapore for business trip and I stay at the Fairmont Hotel and in a harbour view room.

My room on the 21st floor  could see the Floating Casino sitting on top of a few blocks of building . The Casino and the resort is called the Sands in Sinagoire.

The scene looks like a hurricane has gone through or a Tsunami have struck Singapore carrying this big ship and resting it on top of the buildings. At night, the whole area is lighted up with laser beams shooting up in the sky and the river below.

The whole area is where all the things are happening ie food outlets, the river cruise , entertainment , etc. a simple  walk by the river side would be refreshing and interesting.

The Fairmont Hotel is linked up to the shopping arcades and the LRT and there are so many pubs ,shops ,food outlet. The hotel rooms are brightly lighted up and it is quite new. The room arrangement is quite simple but have a fantastic view of the harbour and the Sands. It cost about S$350 per night including breakfast and internet access.

It has been a present stay for me and I could have a restful night. I hope Penang will be able to catch up with Singapore in the near future.

Namaste.
