Candle in the wind

I remembered the song written and sung by Elton John which have a lyric which said that life is like a candle in the wind and we don't know when the wind will come to blow off the candle. Yes, it is true life is fragile and uncertain.

The song was written as a pop song but it was later dedicated to the Princess of Wales , Diana who died in a tragic incident.  The song was sung at her funeral and it was a suiting goodbye.

Life is uncertain but death is certain. So, we have to enjoy our life every moment . It does not mean that the old will die first or earlier than the young .When a big wind blow at night , there are alot of leaves on the ground. There are a mixture of young and old leaves and it is really painted an uncertain picture of life.
For your light reading please think through the lyrics of the song :

"Candle In The Wind"

Goodbye England's rose, may you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself, where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country and you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven and the stars spell out your name

And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset when the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before your legend never will

Loveliness we've lost these empty days without your smile
This torch we'll always carry for our nation's golden child
And even know we try the truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express the joy you brought us through the years

And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle
In the wind never fading with the sunset when the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned our long before your legend ever will

Goodbye England's rose may you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself where lives were torn apart
Goodbye England's rose from a country lost without your soul
Who'll miss the wings of your compassion more than you'll ever know

And it seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset when the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will

Namaste.
