I wonder and I am confused whether I should rent out my apartment to a man who house his mistress? Am I an accomplice to a sin ? Why should I be sinful as I cannot stop anyone from using the apartmentm, right ? But if I know it is not proper , do I still rent it out ?
I remembered Dalai Lama said that as long as we do not hurt others then the action should be okay. In this case, do I hurt others ? Yes and no. If I do not know, then it is not sinful but if I know than it is considered sinful. What about the thinking in our mind ? Everyday, we dream of sinful things ie critizing a person or want to hurt another person but in actual fact, it does not happen. Is it sinful ?
We look at beautiful women with bad intention but not doing anything about it and nobody knows about it as we fantacise in our mind , is it sinful ? In the bible , adultery happens even it is in our mind even when there is no harm to anybody. The craving already is sinful.
One of my friend told me that he likes beautiful naked pictures of women, it does not mean that he will raped them, Is this sinful ? A fantancy and a dream does it matters ? Nobody would know and it does no harm to the ladies in the picture. Who to judge ?
There is a saying " Men will think of sex , Women will think of money ". Each specie have their own desire and dreams. This happens through millions of years.
Good man remained good man despite what goes in their head as long as it is not reviewed or acted to harm people.

One of her last wish .....
Recently, I have been tormented by a dream. A dream of my sister in law who have a last request from me. The dream just came into my sleep and it makes me rather quilty.
I had a joint investment with my brother in law and when my sister was sick with Cancer she requested me to sell the apartment to my brother in law. I offered a discount but she had asked for more. I kept my stand and the deal went sour because of some reason. I regretted because she died not long after that. At one point of time before her death, my brother in law want to talk about the matter again but she stopped him to bring up the subject. Maybe she feared that my relationship with my brother in law would strain further. She maybe right.
I felt that I should have given more discount to her as money is not the the final thing and everybody would ended up a happy ending. I brought up this matter after the dream and it turn out that my brother in law have bought another apartment at some other place.
Hopefully with this step I could close the chapter with my sister in law and release my guilt. It has put a restless pressure on me when the dream came up.
I have learned a lesson not just to look at the current situation but deeper into the family relationship. Since nothing can be done now , it is better to sell of the unit and have a clean start. I need to convinced myself that if the things are out of control, I should not worry and let it roll out according to its script.

A note from my friend , Kam
He lives in KL and he semi reitred , living with his wife and sinter in law. He works hard for a living managing a transport company. As a down to earth man, he is talkative and have been asking me to relax and take a easy life.
He said his life and mine is no difference if we are at 70 or 80 as money is no use to us already and all our earthly needs is not more relevant.
After reading his message it really make some sense. What is sex, desire , greed when we are near the end ? The riches does not have any meaning to us anymore except for medical treatment. Can money let us eat more, have sex more, or happier or greed more ? It really have no meaning anymore except it provides the comfort that we have the resources to prolong our life or die a more peaceful death.
Why is it that we want more and more money when we know that it is enough for ourself . More money means more secure or live a longer life . It does not mean that right ?
So enough is enough , make up your mind and manage it instead of been a slave to money and work yourself to death. Just to have a penny more.
So let go of the GREED and give yourself more life.

Passing days
I was with my sister this afternoon and she told me that the weeks have been passing by very quickly and it looks so helpless as we could not use more of it. I have been saying that etime waits for no one and if we are aware of the present , we may slow it down a little and be more aware of it. If we are restless or in a hurry, the time slips by very quickly.
If our mind holds on the past, we will not be aware of the present and we are stuck in time as days come passing by. We have to let go of the past and live n the present. The past is just memories and if we relive the memories then we are not living. Time will pass by without us being in a dream while the future becomes the present and if we wake up, we will realized that the days or the years have been gone by and we have waste some many years. Some people prefer to live in the past or their memories because such time was a happy time and be in it was very meaningful for them. Again, there is no right or wrong. it is a choice of individuals
I have been wondering whether to let our mind move forward into the future or backward in the past ,as we live in the present. When something good is in the past, why not go back and re-live it again. But, we should not get stuck in the past and not living in the present and live into the future.
We get our mind trained and be discipline while we live the way we wanted it . we get our mind to move back and forth and also relive the good times and clean up the bad moments in our past and use it as a lesson to move into the future. A discipline mind can make us more happy as it listen to us and if our mind is a monkey mind and untrained , then it will keep jumping back and forth and also bring us the bad time. This monkey action will make our life more troublesome as it will bring back the good and bad times. It will more miserable and unhealthy.

How should we live ?
There is no right or wrong in life and how we live ? The feeling that is that we are happy, than everything is alright.. It does not depends how we live but the outcome of happiness. But, is ite without any principles ? No, as long as it does not hurt others
If we are happy and it does not hurt others , this is one level of happiness. There are so many level of happiness. If we help others, the level of happiness will be much more and if we sacrifice for others and make the people around you happy, it is again a happiness at a higher degree.
If you attain happiness by making the whole counry or whole world happy, it is an ultimate level of happiness. Hence, you happiness goes higher and higher depending on how you attain your happiness. From self to selfless and to a sacrifice for happiness in the world
There are many examples of great people and leaders, who have endure the sufferings and have attain eternal happiness and their great works remained in the history,
Some people said that it si pre-destinated but it remain a choice in life and we have the absolute right to choose and exercise that right as long as it don/t hurt others.

Long distance love
Can long distance love or cross border love sustainable ? I have a few friends who love or married a foreigner and intend to settle down in Malaysia. I wsa told that the life is full of obstacles.
It is not a matter of having to renew their visa frequently but to look for a job , there a full of obstacles. Can the couple bear all these inconveniences ?
In the beginning is only the couple but latter, the children .. Love at the beginning is strong to withstand but as love becomes more matured and life becomes difficult, doubts and worries will wear down the relationship All the long distance travelling to and flo and the expenses incurred , it is sometime that the couple would need to face and it is real.
Of course, there are couples who have successfully maintain their strong relationship but a lot will fall by for practical reasons and the means of survival.
There is also a lot of fairy tales of distance love or foreign love and most ot these tales are movies and it is just entertaining, In real life, it is real a test and it starts with love at its fullest. But to slowdown a little and think about it seriously, it can be really challenging, Maybe, challenging is a mild word , the word more representing is difficult
However, life is evolving and nothing is certain but the possibility of distance love or cross border love of succeeding is high and finally, the conclusion is that it is not worth all the trouble.
It is real and it is a difficult decision at the start when love is at the hottest

Dreamers
I have an opportunity to meet a group of dreamers. They have a product which they think it will change the word and have been searching for many years for an ideal partner. The search is still on and the dreams and hope is still big.
There are people who behave like this and it is to keep their hope alive. They quit their jobs and invest their money and time to pursue their dream and hopes to be millionaires when the white knight comes along. A foolish hope.
The famous words " I have a dream" by Martin Luther King means that everything starts with a dream. There are so many version of a dream . There different version like think big and you will achieve big things but a dream is a dream unless some real action is taken.
Just the group of inventors which I mentioned earlier. Based on an ideal, they hope investors will put in the money and they want a 50% ownership of the venture with their technology. They want to sell a dream and wants the investors to believe in their dream. Maybe this is a movie tale or what they call the American dream. Actually, there is a TV series where potential investors sit to hear a dream or a project and they can bid or reject the project in the end. I think this is what the dreamers are thinking about and I believe there are dream investors but it is very rare and only happens in USA, the land of dreamers
These dreamers have their passion and hopes jumble up with reality and they believe in fairy tales. This serious as there are a lot of movies ended in happy ending and sometimes , it is an absurd plot and gives a of fake storyline,
Yes, there have to be dreams but be real at the same time. Life is difficult and there is no such thing as a wind fall in most cases. Money do not grow on trees
