"The right to live and the right to die"

This topic have recently became one of the hot topic of discussion.  The argument is there are no laws governing how we choose to live but why are the laws to govern how we die ?  The argument is that we are born without any choice but we want to choose the day we die and this is our right.  Who is correct ? It all depends on our perception of life.

This morning I called my friend to enquire about his uncle who is operating a lorry transport and he told me to see him in heaven . I was shocked and life is so fragile.  Life can come and go anytime.  The same thing happens to me years ago, when I called up a friend to locate another friend of mine who I have not seen for 10 years already and he told me the same thing and he asked me to locate him in hell.  We are in no control and yet , there are laws to govern us when to die or how to die.

All the laws are established by people through generations and it is to bring order to civilization. We are make to be civilized by the existing laws.  Otherwise, people will be dying hanging on trees or in the middle of the road and will die due to all the reasons it can be.

Coming to thing of it , why are people imposing these laws or guidance to govern other people's lives ?  All of us should have the freedom to live or freedom to die isn't it ? Of course , the way we choose to die should not bring harm to other people surrounding us.  If the basic rule is there, then there should not be any problem , right ?

Bring the issue of canning of two lesbian in  the State of Trengganu  for discussion , how can we penalize two adults from their way of life or action. Not only a fine is imposed on them but they were canned in the public.  Is this a lesson to everyone or is this  barbaric nature of human beings imposing their standard on another individual ?  The Syariah Court judge says that we should look down at hese individuals after sentencing them. Is this the correct way of life ?

Just like the incident in the Parliament , the PAS MPs were telling the Minister of Transport Loke that the airline stewardess uniform was too sexty and they were rebuked by the Minister telling them they should not look at them.  We have the freedom to see what we want and we cannot impose our standard on what other people want to see.  Why are we imposing our standard on others  unless we want to be judged. This is fair and proper.  We should refrain from imposing our standards on others because we are all sinners as well.

Looking through what transpire in life, it is a lot of bad judgments and implied standards .  To hell with all these pretender saints ....live your way but do not tell other people to live your way.

Namaste.
