The TV series is now the talk of the town whereby the King have so many concubines and how the concubines and queen "fought" with each other out of jealousy and power. In between the story, there was this maid-turn concubine " Yin lor" could survive the intrigues and the evil schemes to stay alive.
Yin-lor was once the maid of the Queen and she was well like by the kind Queen and she was very appreciative of the Queen. But , this Queen was hurt time and again by the various concubines including getting her baby killed in a fire by one the concubine. She is very loving to the King but the playful King continued to enjoy the company of the various concubines and finally pushed the Queen to commit suicide due to the pressure of her son getting killed.
Yin-lor saw the whole happening and resolved secretly to take revenge. She was demoted from the Queen's maid to be a washer women cleaning empty bins and she worked hard and fairly. Slowly, she gets the attention of the King and became her concubine. From then on, she plot to kill all those concubines involved in the killing of the Queen. Meantime , another concubine became the Queen after been noticed by the Queen Mother. Gradually, Yin-Lor came to know that it was this new Queen who have plotted behind the scenes to killed off her rivals and became the Queen finally.
The morale of the story here is that " anybody can instigate another person to do the dirty job on their behalf " and even to the extend of killing. Yin-lor also saw through this scheme and confronted the new Queen directly. As usual , the new Queen pretended not to admit it but told Yin-lor to show the proof. Yin-lor was one of the concubine who escape death in many ways.
Yin-lor have been a standout to be righteous and straight . She did not mint her actions but will take revenge in the proper place and timing. Her maid was well protected by her and she managed to take care of those evil action out to harm her.
Behind all the glamor of the palace , there is so much in-fighting , intrigues and malicious plots trying to backstab, pull down or kill their adversaries . It is so stressful and dangerous to be in the palace where some thing could prop up and hurt you.
The plot in this TV series was well executed and is really exciting and interesting as the plot unveiled at each steps.
