The sound of music

Today is saturday. Here I am sitting in my yoga cum meditation room listening to Kenny G's sax music. It was a wonderful experience been able to have a good nite rest and feeling good after some yoga stretching. There is so much soul in Kenny's music and helps to calm me down and make me feel totally relax.

The use of right music in meditation is very important.  There are fast music to bring up our tempo in life, there are sexy music which put us in the mood for love , there are also music which can jive up our imagination and our mood and of course, there are music to draw us into deep meditation. When you at a spa for massage, the music would soft, slow  and smooth to allow all our pressure points to open up and to absorb the  effect of the massage.

Kenny's music maybe appropriate now under the current conditions of relaxation but the sound of Sax can be very sad under certain occsaions and may not be appropriate. Too much of each type of music can also be borring and become jittery and unpleasant.as our mood and situation changes. So, it is wonderful to have so many type of music to suit each occasion and boost the atmosphere.

To understand this arrangement or selection is really an art itself as itdraws out each individual's exposure , knowledge and skill.  Just imagine the need to select the music for an occasion of a few hundred people of all races, culture and languages. As I say before, human's emotions and feelings is the most variable factor and the outcome is most unpredictable.  If thake the emotions of these people into consideration, it would make the task extremely difficult.

Just now, it was  a grey sky and now, the sun just came out and the mood start to change as Kenny's music continues under the changing circumstances.  Kenny's music skill is perfect but his perfection is wearing out as I start to come out of the deep relaxation.

So, a good day to all you kind people , keep up the lively spirit and enjoy each moment as you live through the day.

Namaste.
