Acting stupid - Malaysian style.

Acting stupid - Malaysian style

It is very obvious in Malaysian acting stupid and they think that the Rakyat is stupid after their stupid act. Like I have said , it is an insult to our intelligence.

The Olympic Malaysia's excuse that they forget to change the avenue of their run and have to co-incite with the 505 rally in ladang Merbok on this Saturday.  It is really silly to act in this hypocritical manner.

When the lightning arrestor fell from the top of Menara UMNO in Penamg ,UMNO blame it in DS Anwar back in 1997 for the defective building. What have UMNO being doing for the last 15 years to their building? Letting it rot.

The issue of PM najib's appointment of 5 ministers who are not MPs or Senator is now being challenge by DAP.  A really senseless step by our PM. Who is a lawyer by profession.

Utusan wrote about a Chinese conspiracy to topple the Malays and replace it with a non-Malay Government. This is another stupid theory that holds no water. People who knows the composition of the race in Malaysia will know that it is impossible . Of course, this is an childish act by the BN paper. A LOL matter.

Finally, our CD Chua , a defeated MCA leader and his still deputy Leow  biting at each other's neck after a fallout. Both of them have been sleeping side by side doing silly things and suddenly showing their true colors.  Really idiots.

Fools rushes in where angels fear to thread.....in dirty politics.

Pikapita Cafe ,KL - a new food outlet

Pikapita cafe , Menara Frazers, KL

I was at the cafe's soft opening in last Sunday . It was a gathering of relatives to support the cafe which is owned by my two nieces and their Korean friend. This is a fast food joint and it is located in the busiest spot in KL.

The speciality of this joint is Pita bread and a specially selected Ingredients of salmon fish, curry, eggs, rolls ,etc and fresh vegetables and special source. This is to promote healthy eating life style and give freshness  as a choice to working people around the area.

The pita bread is freshly baked each day and the ingredient for this bread is the only type in the country.  This preparation is different from Sub-way because the servings and the ingredients are fresh  instead of pre-processed  food.

The setting of the cafe is simple and refreshing and they are offering quality drinks and specially brewed cafe.

I have the opportunity to try the different selections and the taste was excellent. You have to try it to know it and it is an experience you should not missed.

One of the interesting free event is the ‘Bridges and Kaki Lama’ a traditionally-inspired street dance show that will take place in and around the five-foot ways of the shophouses along Victoria Street (June 29).

‘Obscura’ a photography festival is also free of charge.

On the art front, Indonesian artist Joko Avianto will build a 15-metre high bamboo installation between two iconic Penang buildings, Town Hall and City Hall; Australian artist Tim Craker will exhibit sculptures made out of everyday objects (pails, cloth hangars, etc); and established Taiwanese glass sculptors Loretta Yang and Chang Yi will display their latest collection.

Some of the top-tier international productions that require purchase of tickets are ‘Sutra’ (June 29 – 30), a Shaolin monk-inspired dance work by celebrated Flemish/Moroccan choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and ‘A Night of Comedy with Kumar’; where Kumar is a well known stand-up comedian, actor, host and drag queen from Singapore.

Beautiful Sunday . Isn't it?

Beautiful Sunday - how wonderful  ?

Our feelings depends on our choice and it all depends on ourselves.

A positive thought earlier in the day will change our mood for the whole day. Our feelings depends on our thoughts so we better choose to be happy.

I saw a YouTube on the FB . There was this blind old man sitting on the roadside begging. His collections was soon as the people walk by. Then a women stop and pick up a card  board and wrote something on it and place it back next to the old man. Suddenly, more and more people stop  by and placed more and more donations to him.  Later, on the same day the lady stopped by and blind old man can recognized the footsteps and he thanked the lady . On the card board, the lady have written a message. "This is a beautiful day and  I cannot see it".

This kind gesture can be easily done by anybody and it change the day foe other people as well.

Do this kind act for yourself and other people.

A frustrating weather - Friday , the 14th

A  frustrating weather - last Friday

Well, it was not a Friday , the 13th which is dubbed as an unlucky day but it was a 14th instead. It was hallowing experience.

After work on that day. The rain was pouring from a darken shy and it was messy to even get into the car. My wife was late out from her office . It was already 7.20pm.

After Penang toll on the mainland side, the traffic was jam packed on the bridge. On the other side ie traffic from Penang was a standstill .A tree have fallen across the road blocking all the traffic while some fireman were struggling to cut away the tree . The heavy rain keep on pouring as if it is forever.

The traffic was crawling on the bridge. Inch by inch. It was a frustrating drive for me. It took about 45 minutes to cross the bridge and after reaching the island , the traffic was just as bad but not so bad as the mainland bound traffic which as a standstill. The heavy rain was still pouring with howling wind.  There a lot of fallen branches and leaves on the ground. Some of the failing leaves and branches hit my car.
The traffic was still at a crawling speed.

It took me about an hour to reach Green Lane and then I know the reason for the massive jam. A fire brigade van was blocking the road to the city and traffic have been diverted to the small lanes.

After this bottleneck, the drive home was quite smooth.  All in all, it took me two hours to reach my sister's home for dinner. It was a tiring and frustrating drive. Thank God ,it was only once in a blue moon.

After dinner and in the comfort of my own home, I realized that the falling branches have knock off the cover of my right car window. The big news on the night was a fallen lightning arrestor of 12 meter high from the Penang UMNO building have killed a man driving a lorry delivering home gas. The next day, a bigger news when some car parts were found 5 meters into the ground when the rubbish were cleared. The car belongs to an economy rice seller who was on the way to fetch his daughter from school. It was a sad story.

These happening is the result of the changing weather  in the world climate. There was report that the climate is changing drastically and the seasons between summer and winter is getting shorter. Finally, it will just alternate between extreme hot and extreme cold.

Everything is changing and we have to change to survive.

I am in KL today...

Sunway mall - sitting here  restless

I have reached  KL  at  1.45pm  waited for 20 miniutes  from my SIL to meet us  and we had an enjoyable vegetarian lunch at the mall. The lunch was excellent and the taste was good and fruit drinks were refreshing. I don't know the price as my SIL paid the bill.

could do nothing except struggling with my restless self and heavy eyes.

We decided to take a walk around the mall and I volunteered to look after the.bags. It was a small mall , waiting here was boring and my eyes went  heavy and yawning for sleep. There was  nothing I could  do except to wait for the shopping to finish.

The trip to KL was a good decision as it took slightly more than 4 hours from Penang to KL.The Aero-line bus offered very good seats and DVD programs. If I have to drive, it will take the same amount of time and I would ended up tired and more sleepy.

I came to KL for Pika-pita cafe opening and the cafe is owned by
my two niece and her Korean friend who will be the main chef at the cafe.

The main food of the cafe is Pita bread and there will several types of fillings. Something like the Sub-way but the difference is in the bread and ingredients of the fillings. It will be a special experience to try it out with a taste of Korean.

I will find out more and give more details in the coming article.
