Melt your heart - Yoga philosophy

Yesterday, my yoga teacher told me to melt my heart during the yoga pose. How to melt our heart ? During my yoga session with my previous yoga teacher , Jack , he told us to open our heart. Melt our heart or open our heart is the same ? My understanding is that both action is to boost loving kindness and great compassion to all living beings. Why is the jargon different ?

My understanding is the by melting our heart, we soften it and let go all our angers. If we hold our angers, our heart will be tighter like we hold on something with our hands. If we let go our grip, the things we hold will drop out . So, if we melt our heart and let go of the grips, our angers will vanish. If the knots and angers in our heart vanish, it will make us lighter and we will experienced a floating sensation or suspension without awareness. It will come naturally. It is like a frozen margerine and when you leave it for a while outside, it just melt into liquid form. At that stage, it can hold nothing including anger.

Then, what is impact of opening our heart ? It is just the same as melting our heart. If we open our heart, then all the angers will drop out and with an open heart, positive energy from the Universe will come into your heart and will empower you to give out great compassion as well to all the living beings.

Whichever technique you use, the end will be the same. This is to make you let go of your anger and in return, you will be able to experience loving kindness and great compassions to all living beings. According to my yoga teachers, such compassion or passion will change your life and will unite you with your yoga mat to experience the floating sensations., Your body will naturally hang in balance without straining your body, leg and hands. When you hang in balance, there is a weightless feeling and there is no effort on your part. The body can balance itself for a long time and you will experience total relaxation and a loving feeling.

I have only briefly experience such feelings and I am still pursuing to experience a long spell under this effortless pose. Hope you will be able to find a way to experience the same. After the difficult pose, you will find yourself re-energized and refresh.

Happy hunting.

Namaste.
