This morning I had Tim Sum breakfast with my sister and she suddenly pop out a question , why is time passing so fast " I told her maybe it is the globe turning faster but then, the clock ticking as usual. What happen to our senses because each time we met our friends or relative, we always remind each other that time have moved on so fast. This is our normal greetings especially when we refer to our children who have grown up so fast and moving to college or universities or working. The lapse of time seem so fast ,like a quantum leap.
If we look back,it was like yester years but our parents could have been dead like 10 to 20 years already. It is as if with a blink of an eye. Nothing seem to change except they are no more around or we have aged another 10 to 20 years. How many 10 to 20 years do we have ? If lucky if may be one or two rounds more and if destined, it maybe less. What can we say or do except to wait until the faithful day while we continued to live at our best.
If we continue to live in the routine and comfort zone, it will be like living in a circle and we would not notice the difference because we are living in our comfort zone. If we break out of our circle of life and do sometime different, then we will feel that we have real live and enjoy our life. It maybe a small or big break but doing something different will wake up our sense and adventuring spirit and make our comfort zone bigger. Living without a purpose and dwelling in our comfort is just another day and we will lose another day which makes our life shorter.
It will make us feel good if we stretch our limit of comfort and living area. It is just like breathing ,if we have shallow breath, it makes us lifeless or inactive but if we take deep breath of air and force it into our lungs, we become more energetic and aware and we will realize our potentials around us and will seek happiness by venturing externally or internally. Yes, time and come and go, we will continue to live at our best and stretching the limits of our comfort and living. We want to live.... really live.
Namaste.
