Benefits of meditation - experience of the Thai " Wild Boar " football team

Why are the boys so calm despite stalled in a cave for many days during a massive flood ?  The answer was the art of meditation.  Their coach was a former Buddhist monk and he taught them the art of Meditation.  There are 5 benefits of meditation :

1) It provides calming of the mind through slow breathing exercise and bring them to the present.
2) It trains them to have patience while waiting for the rescue team to reach them.
3) It teaches them to have the right and positive thoughts which invites the rescue team to find them and rescue them.
4) It provides the harmony among the boys trapped in the cave as they start to think of positive things about the team and binds them together in thought and spirit.
5) Meditation reduces the need for food but yet give them energy to survive.

It has been proven over thousand years after Buddha's teaching the art of meditation . It is mind over our physical self . This is technique which prolong life in a healthy way.
