One way ticket
There is a Chinese saying "age and time waits for no one". The Chinese New Year is around the corner and the year of the wooden horse will be riding in soon. A new year will begin.
It has been the same feeling when a new year comes around. How can we prevent time from evolving ? Although we console ourself that age is just a number, our physical body cannot lie as we feel the age sets in.
The vision gets blur, the joints starts to be weak and giving out funny sound, the hair go grey and less and tiredness comes easily and the recovery from sickness or injury will take a longer time. The signs will get more and more obvious despite our denial. We always say it is all in the mind but not at all, the body feels and there is no doubt about the process of getting old.
As I have always say when we are young we never thought of dying and even at old age, we think we can live forever. Some people say that this is the process of living positively. But, this thinking will give us a false sense of time and we delay to do the things we want to do before it is too late. We should be aware and take time to do what we want whether the end is near or far. This should not be the point of living forever but rather living out what we want.
Life is like a run away train if we are not aware. Running without purpose and out of timing before it runs out fuel and stop. By that time, we will realize we have not yet really lived.
Namaste.
