I was at Komtar, Penang

The changes are on-going to have face lift for this iconic building. It stands tall right in the middle of the town and as a landmark in the  island. This building was the brainchild of Dr Lim Chong Eu, the former Chief Minister of Penang.

The build house the State Administration for Penang State and was under the BN - Gerakan rule for almost 20 years or more. It has deteriorated into a slump for petty traders until DAP took over the State Administration and the State Government.

For the past five years under DAP we can see the transformation of Penang under the CM Lim Guan Eng and the whole is getting lighted up and Komtar under gone a face lift and we could see the building regaining its past glory. Recently, the State Government is planning a further refurbishment of the building  and making it useful once again.

From a walking dead, it has recovered its health and be useful with vigor into the future. Many investors and Citizen have look at Penang as a retirement home under the present leadership. With a healthy and robust environment , Penang is expected to into a bright future and for those past leaders who have make Penang like a slump. Please rest in peace.
