Yesterday, I read a story of two wolves fighting each other everyday inside all of us. One is a bad wolf and other is a good wolf. The good wolf represents all the good virtues in life ie honesty, kind , compassionate, loving , caring , good attitude, etc while the bad wolf represents the dark side in everyone of us ie bad intention, cheating , abusive, hatred, anger, gossip,etc.
This story was told to a young boy by his father and after the story , the young boy asked his father which wolf win the fight? The answer was depending on which wolf you feel. So. Don't feel the bad wolf.
If you think deeply you will realized that the two wolves are the goodness and demon in all of us. These two parts of us is in conflict most of the time. It is a daily struggle in our life and sometimes the bad wins over the good and vice versa. This flip flop depends on the conditions of our mind.
In time of weakness , the bad wolf gets stronger and make us do all the wrong things while in good times,the good wolf dominates and suppressed the bad wolf. So, the condition of the mind is very important.if we train our mind and not to feed the bad wolf then the good wolf will be stronger and you can control your life and the acts. Otherwise , you lost control of yourself if the bad wolf gets stronger.
It is a choice and you have to keep your mind to the good side and continued to feed the good wolf. Then your life will be happy and enlightened.
