It is very funny, the grass is always greener on the other side. We want to be somebody else and we change to follow somebody else and we forget who we are . There is no two of you or me in this world, we are the unique one.
When we are born, that is the moment, we are the only us and this originality will fade as we grow up because of the influence from our parent, our studies , the TV , our friends will keep teaching us through their advise , actions , teachings and experience. Every single moment, we are taught something , read something , watch something and it continues to build us into another person. We are constantly changing.
In our daily life, we look for things to imitate and we follow the latest fashion , the latest looks and the latest habits of the celebrities and our role models. We want to be part of the success and if we look like somebody uccessful, we wanted to imitate their actions, the way they talk and the way they look. We have lose our originality as we grow older and old.
How do we go back to our originality ? We have to unle arn to learn. We have to wipe off our past . experience, our knowledge and our taste. The more we can unlearn, the more we will get back our originality.
When we are in love, we change ourself to please our better halves , we were are working , we change ourselves to support ourself. Yes, we change all the time to please our love ones. Finally, we have many faces and we change our mask or face on different occasions. We became actors or actress to live on this world stage, play the role of someone else instead of ourselves. Why is it so ironical ?
If re famous and successful, other people want to look like me, behave like me and talk like me. What kind of people are we ? We live other people's life instead of ours . Is there a need to change to besome other people? Everything bores down to choice. We can be ourself if that is what we want.
It is more philosophical that if we imitate abit of somebody then we can be unique and become another you or us. But, it could not be perfect to look like some one else and finally become a unique you.
Namaste.
