I read the newspaper today and I read about a snatch thief incident. The thief was unable to snatch a pillion rider's handbag and they kick their victim's motorbike and both the rider and pillion fell on to the road. One of them suffered scratches on her hands and legs and the other suffers head injury. This is not the first time such incidents have happen. A few of the victim die but such snatching was getting less until this incident disturb us again. The Penang state Police chief have announced that Penang have reduced its crime rate by 20% and it was the first time in many years.
I found this incident very disturbing is that why do you need to kill or attempt to kill? The purpose is to snatch the bag and why they need to kill the motorbike and the let the rider fell? Is it a moment of madness or these people are mentally disturbed ? There is not a sense of compassion for the fellow human beings.How could we do it unless there is an influence of drug? I want to tell these guys " live and lets live" and if not, go and check your heads.
Another incident was an e-mail sent to me by a friend asking help to locate a young girl in KL. The young girl was abducted by three person and the last message from this girl to her mother was " they are raping me" and the phone went dead. I do not know the background of the story and it maybe revenge or jealousy or strained blood ties. But, why the young girl? If the parents are at fault, you should only take it out on the parents and not the innocent child. The guilt of the parents does not flow to the Child, it is so unfair.
What is happending to this world ? An eye for an eye, leaves us all blind.
However, I have witness a real incident and it happens on my daughter May's good friend E. She was a nice person and I have came to know her when she came to Penang to stay with May. E have a boyfriend in back home but he is a school dropout but E came to study in a college in Penang. At the college, she came to know of a boy and they became close and finally, the boy became her boyfriend. So, she broke up with her boy friend back home. E is a keen FB member and I saw people pasting " automatic vibrators" advertisments under her messages or in the comments sent to her. This harrassment went on for sometime and force her to quit the FB. It was really very embarrassing for her. I felt bad for her. A love sick man is like a wounded lion and such animal could kill but luckily, he only harrass her.
The re-action from human beings are unpredictable which is the same as our emotions. It changes by a simple word, a funny smell, a disturbing action and we do not what will happen next. Because of these unpredictable behaviour, life becomes so interesting, otherwise, if we can predict the outcome, it will be so boring. Take a day at a time and keep learning the unpredictables for Time waits for no one.
