If it is the end, we don't give a damn.

Recently, I read of a phase in the FB which makes me felt the deep truth about human relationship. " Never push a loyal person to the poiint where they are no longer give a damn". This statement leaves me wondering how we treat our friends and staff. If we continued to push our loyal staff or scold them for the errors they make, this action will push them to a point that of rebellion. It is only so much a person can absorbed and beyond the tippering point, they will feel numb or having no more passion to respond. Like I say, " enough is enough" and anything more will only hit a dead point. I have noticed that are many "dead woods" in an organization and these employees have no more passion in their work and only choosing to pass their time in doing the routine work. Their fire is gone and they just drift along and doing what only needs to be done without pushing for the extras. So, how do we motivate these "dead woods" ? It is a dilemma as it could be the boss that could have resulted in the killing of their subordinates' passion and leaving them to do what they have been doing. If we lifted these tyrannic boss and also inspire these " dead woods" to perform, there is a possiblity of a resumption of their passion and also an improved contribution of these people to the company or a project. But, we should not forget the wisdom of " what goes around , comes around ". If we are good to people, people will be good to us but if we start to nasty to them, bad karma will come back to us. So, live and lets live. Namaste.

Fate, that is what it is...

Fate , that is what it is. There is a Chinese saying " when there is fate, a thousand miles away yet we will meet. If there is not fated, when we met it is like a stranger who pass me by". This wisdom have been passed down a thousand years and we don't know who is the writer. It does not matter here. What I am saying is that in our life , thousands o people passed through our life as family members, friends, lovers, peers , strangers, benefactors , enemies, good friends, parent, etc in many roles and in many playing in our life . Some people stay longer in our lives and in many length influencing our thoughts , actions and decisions in our life. It is so strange that it is as if the script of our life have been written in advance and we are merely playing our role and acting out the script。Hence. Who we are fated to meet have fixed. If we are aware of this script and if we choose another choice  to avoid the script which we know is lay out for us, the deviating choice is like another script written out. But , it also seem that this was the original script.  So   What is real and what is false is constantly changing and we are following the script. Therefore, if we choice to skip dinner and go hungry and is away from the normal routine. It turns out that you skip the routine as in the script。You are supposed to skip the dinner and get hungry. It is because you follow the script to make that decision and stay hungry. In other words, the script have many possibilities and we can never jumped out of the script called "fate". Namaste.

I cannot be wrong

" I cannot be wrong" We are arrogant , stubborn. selfish and rigid. We are always right and please do not question us. We can do no wrong and we always  one first. This is the devilish part of our character。This  bitchy part exist in everyone of us and it is either in a small or big way and it fluctuates at each moment according to our mood and thoughts. In a polite term. We can be difficult and if it is against our self imposed principles than we can be extremely difficult. Other people could called us as stubborn old fool.  At  these difficult stance  our "I" is  very strong and we put forward a strong protective front even when we are wrong in our judgement. It is like " I will die to defend my honor and plight. Everything else is immaterial.  We become so impossible to understand. Our actions could be below comprehension and we can say words or do things that can hurt our loved ones, friends and peers if they try to bring down your defense or to prove you wrong.  By then, we. could have lost our sense of logic. After the incident, we could have lost a few friends. feel lonely and sad and we could out or cry internally at our wrongful actions and stubbornness. We realized that it was not the true "us" and as if another person have taken over us. We are back to our senses but we    could have done some incorrigible damages. As long as we aware of our "strange" self , there is still hope but we think we are right all the way, then we will be miserable and lonely. We should take these experiences and become wiser and we should try to overcome this bitchy self and to reduce the importance of the "I" and make it smaller in each attempt。To win over ourself and to be a better person. TGF - Thank God is Friday again

The last week have been hectic. The shutdown in the US Administration on 1st October sent jitters to the global market and luckily, the investors are matured to expect that the spell is going to be short. This calms the market but today , at day 4, the loggerhead is still on and things are getting abit more tense as the US$ continued its slide southwards. Business is getting tough and the mood of every management team is getting foul and sensitive. The patchy US economy really gets edgy as the shutdown sents thousands of people going home jobless. The sentiments in the US will get worst as the shutdown bites in. I was travelling with my colleague KF and he told me that he thankful today is Friday. He has been rushing to meet his business budget the whole of September 13 and things was not so well as his profit target was below his budget. He was under a lot of pressure but he still stood firm and try to keep his jovial mood. Working for people is to meet their KPI and if we failed to meet the target, then we have to face the music or the smacking and we have to swallow our ego when we are scolded. Everybody is the same and if we make errors when the business is no good, we will be fired !!! All the contributions and hardwork is forgetten if we failed to deliver only once. If we do 10 things and 9 things excellently but we make one mistake. Our boss will only look at that one mistake and it will wiped off the 9 good things that we have done. Why can't the bosses be more udnerstanding ? Now , I know why some people cannot work under employment and prefer to work for themselves. I think it is the same. Either you are working for one boss or if you are working for yourself, your customers are your bosses and it maybe even worst. Of course, when you are successful, you can choose your customers and can act a bit tough but in the beginning, it maybe worst. This sums up my feeling for the whole week. It is exhausting and heavey . Hope next week will better. Namaste

In the morning ...

In the morning Getting out of  bed is getting tougher and tougher as you aged. The mind wants to  get up but the body wants to stay down and get more rest. This struggle goes on internally until the mind wins the battle or the body have rest enough. In life , there are many such moments of struggle between the mind and the body.  Lets take the example of a morning after last night's yoga session.  Your body have been fully stretched out and you are having a wonderful restful night and yet your body still needs the extra earned rest.  The body is then stronger than the mind and you will stayed down in bed. It can be any event in the past night and this incident will happen. What then can inspired your mind to convince your body to move?  It will depend on the power of your mind. Do you want the  body to control the moment or the mind ? If you step back a little , you will realized that it is you to decide. You can instruct the mind to tell the body to move instead of letting the internal struggle to go on.  The moments  of conflict between the body and the mind will create unrest and turmoil and waste energy. If you are aware of this point, you should take charge and tell the body " enough is enough " and get up now if you have any urgent things to do or you want to start your life early in the day. Namaste.

Transform yourself

Transform yourself

I had  a yogi female friend and we used to practice yoga for many years and she would come into the class from work and She will lie down on her yoga mat exhausted.  I could see her transform herself into an excellent yogi.

Nowadays, she is so energetic and versatile in her pose. She attended many yoga retreats and have been fine tuned by so many yoga teacher including M , my current yoga instructor. I don't know what transpired or what inspired her。I would like to know her tippering point in her practice.

I believe  we are able to change ourselves and the power is within us. What we need is to motivate and push ourselves to change. Actually,it is easy and we need to convince our mind that we can and want the change. Start it gradually and intensify it as you get along. After many attempts you find that it is getting easier and you will start to notice that you are changing and finally a change person. Nothing is impossible.

Once, you notice the change , you are already a changed person and you will start to enjoy yourself and your life. Get out if your comfort zone and live.

Namaste.
