This morning as I was driving across the bridge, I could feel as if I am passing a time tunnel. The drive from the bridge head to the bridge end was only 10 minutes, it is the same amount of time that I have aged. Really, time is our master.
I remembered of a joke. There was this old couple who came from the country side to the City. When they arrived at the airport , they took a taxi to a hotel. As they were waiting at the lobby checking in, they saw an old couple went into to a life and after 5 mnutes a young couple came out of the lift. The husband was very excited and telling his wife, " hey, love. Did you see? We can get young again if we into the lift. This is unbelievable and a miracle. Is this real or just an illusion ? Needless to say, what the eye can see may not be true sometimes. A going back in time ? LOL.
There is no turning back as I have often told my friends, Life is like a perfume , we should enjoy its fragrance while it last. When it is gone, there should be no regrets. Every life have a cycle and it continue to evolves around each life time like the wheel of change. In some Buddhist sects, they believe in the law of karma or the concept of re-birth. If there is re-birth, each life cycle we live in will evolve until we get out of the realm and reach nirvana through our achievements in our karma.
We should not fight against life but rather make peace with it and follow its flow gracefully. Life came at its own time and will end at its own will but in the meantime, we can only do our best to maintain a healthy life style so that we can live a joyful life.
As the wind, it come on its will and go on its own will but some leaves will fall with it as it passes through. One day, the leave could be us.
