What kind of God do you believe ?

What kind of God? Last night, there was a temple possession near my house and the followers were banging their drums to celebrate the occasion. It was so noisy and it woke up the neighborhood. I asked myself what kind of religion or God would disturb the peace right after mid night.it It is so strange and irritating. It sounds like a group of mad people running wild and gone mad. Come to think about it there are so many types of religion apart from the three main religion. As long as the religion serve ones' needs, there will followers. People pray for health ,for wealth, for love, for luck and for all sort of things, etc. The list is non exhaustive and can go on forever as the greed of man is uncontrollable. Lately, the earthquake in Sabah and it has killed 13 people and six is still missing. The local people believe that the spirit of Mount Kinabalu have been offended as a group of tourist have strip themselves naked on top of the mountain. But, my question is why the Spirit of the mountain do not punished the offenders but take their toll on the innocents of which 10 of them are primary school children. It is more like the mountain spirit gets greedy and start to take life. This belief is like the group of madman hitting the gongs at mid night. I think this is a world of make belief and as long as the religion serve the purpose is a good religion even though It insults our intelligence. Where on earth is the real God? If only a few naked man and women running naked in a mountain or forest could unleashed an earthquake , this occurrence would be happening everyday because there are so many mad people in this world.
