Going up the mountain is easy, coming down is difficult.

This a Chinese wise saying but it sounds abit illogical at the first reading. It should be read as going up the mountain is difficult and coming down is easy. All climbers and logical people will tell you the same experience. But, this wisdom is not applying to physical logic but it has a deep meaning to life. If it applies to life, it has the reverse logic to this wisdom. It is mend to people who have reach the top of their achievements or who have experience wealth and power when they are at the top of the "mountain".

In my earlier article, I have said that those people who have gone overseas to earn a living in US$ will not be able to come back to Malaysia to earn the similar amount in Ringgit. For those people, who have experience the " lift" in their life.  A feeling of getting " high" and taste the goodness of money and the purchasing power goes with it. They will never be able to come down the mountain easily. This is the feeling of wealth associated with the power we  have experienced.

The next is the power associated with the height of the mountain. Once, a person experience the wonder and beauty of power, it is difficult to reverse back or letting it go easily. Power is so attractive that those who have it would like to enjoy it abit longer. Hence, coming down from the height of power is never an easily task. We can see the creation of dictator , tyrants  and despots. In many instances, these people resort to violence, corruption and manipulative measures to hold on to their power. In china, we can read many of such incidents in their  rich history and it needs the people to raise against these manipulative leaders when the time comes.

So, for those who have reach their individual top of their mountains that you must know when you need to come down and come down gradually to acclimatize your self with the air in the bottom of the mountain. The thinness in the air on the top surely with get you high and disillusion. Get your family members or your colleagues and friends to prick you to your senses. On the top, everything is light and easy and you have a floating experience and you can easily carried away and lost in your own world.

The higher you climb , the more difficult it will be for you to come down because the lightness is lighter and you can almost fly or float. The sensation of flying higher is incredible and wonderful. There is also a saying the higher you climb , the harder you fall. Sometimes, it is not necessary you need to fall. You can come down by yourself , slow and easy. This is the best option for you. When the time is ripe, the situation is clear and realization is there, let it go. Let go of the power and enjoy the wealth you have when in power and live it wisely. If you cannot help others, don't hurt them. There are mountains of different sizes ie from mole hill, to a hill and to a mountain of different heights. Don't overstay. Otherwise,  People will pull you down and chase you out.  In the right moment, just let go and return to your self.
