As I was on my way back from Bangladesh, I overheard a conversation between an European man and his Thai girl friend telling her that his muscles is getting soften as he ages or it is difficult to toughen up his muscles. Yeah, lest to say , this also applies to his private part.
We can delay it but it will come sooner or later . One of my female relative told me that she felt the difference after hitting her sixties . Her joints become painful when she step up the bus or when she walk. It is the nature in life that everyone will have to go through. Some people can be better off but most people will have pain in their legs whether you exercise or not.
The right amount of exercise is important. Too much or too little can be damaging and detrimental to our health. I felt it in the last few days after exercising immediately after my Bangladesh trip. I thought the more exercise, it would be better but it is in the reverse when we aged.
The logic is that if we push ourselves , it should be better as our muscles will get stronger. No, it does not work this way . It does note mean that we run longer or pushed harder , our muscles will be strong . We can hurt ourselves or the muscles can re-act negatively. Life is not always applying the same formula.
It is very important o pace ourselves . One day , it can be slower or another day, we could be faster and we have to listen to our heart or body to acknowledge the re-action. If we overworked , we should stop or slow down for the muscles to heal and when it is better , we can push it again . This on and off routine will make our body and muscles re-act in a positive way.
We have to acknowledge our age, our illness or our strengthen and be more logical and sensible in our exercise. This is the way of life.
Namaste.
