The law of Karma

Yesterday, my daughter May was very upset at my sister in law's behavior as she is crude and rude to honor everyone around to get what she need.  By so doing, her actions and words were not so unacceptable.  By the way, she is a Christian.


My daughter wants to confront her and tell her off but I told her that we should not try to do GOD's work as she has accepted Jesus as her father and the father will take care of her and will teach her in a mysterious way.  GOD is always fair and of course, HE will know what is appropriate for HIS followers. Yes, I believe that GOD is always fair and that is how he became GOD. How can we have an unfair GOD. For those poor people , they have happiness and for those rich people, they have the money. Is that fair ?


However, in Buddhism, there is a concept that is call the law of Karma. We sow what we reaped and we are responsible for our own actions or our sins. We did bad  and the bad will catch up with us. This is also logical although the sins can be paid in this life time or the next.  Or the sins, we did in the past catches up with us in this life time. So, we are taught to be careful of actions. The right actions will bring the right result sooner or later.


With those two concepts in place, those people who did silly things or the wrong thing or action will be guided by GOD or taken care by the law of Karma. The dragnet is wide enough to cater for those people who did wrong.


It is a waste of time to try to teach these people to behave properly and in their eyes they have did no wrong and why should they listen to a young chiku talking about what is right or wrong. Since, they adopted the Father , then we should have no doubts that GOD will do HIS job by giving guidance and wisdom to HIS followers. Furthermore, how are we to teach those " Ms know all " about how to behave. Let the law of karma give them the right punishment.  We better to focus on our life and not to change the life of others especially those sinful ones.  It is our choice.


To be positive , we have to live among the positives and there was a study that why poor people remained poor , it is because they live and behave like the poor. Their contentment is low and they do not have big aspirations to become rich. However, there are exceptions for those born to be different and they are destined to be rich.. There are such examples.


SO let it be and only change for our own self and live well on our own.
