What is Love. ?

What is love ? I read an article about the Matrix actor Keenu Reeve and know that he is a Buddhist and he shared several wisdom in his article . One wisdom that impressed me very much and it tells me what is true love . When one of his disciples asked Buddha what is love ? Buddha told him that when you see a flower , you pluck it and take with you and that is not love . The true love is that when you see a flower , you keep watering it and make it more beautiful and healthy. That is true love . Yes. It strikes me hard and make me aware of this wisdom. Love cannot be possessed, it will die off soon like the flower we have plucked . You cannot keep love in a container and lock it up for yourself . Love have its life , continued to change and is vibrant. To restrict love is killing it and causing suffering. Love can only be cherished and nourished and let it flow and live. This is the true meaning of love. In this world there are a lot of distortion about what love is and will be. These interpretations are personal perspectives and definition and often leads to suffering as it choked the life in love. Buddha is correct to teach that love is universal and there is life in love.
