Feeling tired & blue

Yeah, just back from my Bangladesh trip .  Feeling very tired after the trip and still recovering from the stomach upset in Chittagong.  I have been very careful with my food and drink but this time, I was down with food poisoning. I think it could be the rotten food I have taken which was served to me during the Sunday lunch. After eating the lunch, I could felt the sickness in my stomach.

How many times I have to suffer these kind of poisoning ? My recovery is getting longer as I age. My strength of enduring the trip becomes less tolerance and pleasant. It is a kind of burned out effect on my body.  I have never felt this way before but it has put a strain on my health.

Based on our recovery rate from each incident, we can know how our health have been affected or how we have aged.  We cannot fight aging but we can to a certain extent maintain our health.  I have been exercising , taking supplements and taking care of my diet for many years already and I feel good most the time but after bad incidents of wrong food , we can feel that what we have done is not enough. We are so fragile.

When we cannot find a solution, we seem to be lost . After all my effort to keep in good shape but a bad incident can caused me feeling so miserable.  The wind in my stomach and the soft motion really makes me weak in my legs and balls.  I could feel that I am swinging as tiredness and weakness in my legs.  We have to sleep and wash it out  by drinking a lot of water.  This thing cannot be cured immediately and it needs time.

Yes, I have to sit it out and wash it out and wait for my strength to return.

Power to ourself

Our power deminished as we aged. How to keep it up?  Do have to accept  it gracefully and accpet the fact ?

Our energy level depends on our mind or our physical well being ? Or both ? The funny thing is that even we exercise everyday and in tip top condition, our inner energy continue to weaken over time. I find that even we have a positive mind or a great physic , we cannot control our inner energy level.  In other words, it fade with time.

In many cases, human being resort to medication to bring up their energy level and just to make an happy ending in sex but what is the purpose.  Just to have a good time or to show that we are still up to it. Does it make any senses ? or is an ego fulfilling trip.

Why are we trying so hard to keep up our energy level and consume dozes of medication to keep our energy level on a high side and to do the things that we are capable of doing when we are young.

Many people have tried to do massage but it is still down hill. Some people also resort to herbs to keep up the energy level but with few success. If we resort to western medication, it has side effects and the drug can only be prescribed by professional doctors. It could lead to heart problems or elevated blood pressure and could also help to trigger a stroke.  There are health problems coming with it.

Hence, we cannot go against nature and instead we have to take easy and managed it as it comes. Keep a positive mind and exercise constantly to keep the body and mind strong and leave the rest to nature.

Pour fire to the rain

Anger, can it be suppressed ?

One of my friend told me that she solved a problem  by suppressing her anger. I cannot understand how we can do it because by suppressing our anger can only be temporary, it cannot go away and it keeps rearing its ugly head, it will float up from in your mind and keep disturbing the peace in you,

The only way is draw it out and face it squarely and leash out the anger and the unhappiness with the counter party and resolve it once and for all, Before smoking the peace pipe ,we have to promised that whatever is said is not to be taken seriously and at the end ,all the parties involved must come out as friends, however, this is the hard part,As I have said many times, the outcome of a human problem cannot be managed easily,

So suppressing our anger and not to think about it will give stress silently to the mind and body, If there many problems which cannot be resolved and just throw it into the trash can, it will be based on the wisdom of that particular person to release the stress from the anger,

If we don't think about it does not mean that it does not exist, Some people can just throw it into the trash but for some it will carry through their life journwy,

It is important to know that you belong to what type and take the right course to dispel,

Going to italy for a year ?

Today, one of my young colleague came and bid goodbye as this is her last day at work.  She gave me a small box with some hand made items and box was nicely done.  I asked her what is the reason for her to resign.  She just told me that she is leaving for Italy on a mission work for one year.  A misson work ?

This is the first time , I met a young girl who resigned from a good paying job to do mission work. She tried to apply for a one year's leave but it is just too long. Well, to work for GOD is something very admirable and sdolerable mission. Yes, I told her that GOD will blessed her.

After she left , I open the box and in this small box there was a small hand written letter thanking me for guiding her through the job and how kind and nice I have been to her. She ended the message by saying " it was great to influence her through the real me ".

What did she mean by the true me?  Yes,  some of us have lost our real self through the passage of time . Some become more the real them or the more fake them. It is very difficult to be our real self as we are emotional animals with our mood sway by emotions within us.

Some of us have to change ourself to meet the environment or work culture and some become more strong and some become more timid. The passage of time has its impact on us.

Well, I try to be me and calling the pot black when it is actual black and never minced my words and raise my voice. But through the years , I have noted that I have wither and become more sober. There are two thoughts constantly going through my head .

One is the stroke suffered by my colleague and he is now paralysed and unable to talk and response properly while another is my sister in law who is dying with Cancer.  These drastic events make me look at the fragility of life and I started to question life itself.  Everytime, such negative events will prompt me to re-look at life while I was lost at work. I try to lay back and think and try to look at life differently.  But, passage of time and events always pushed me back to work.

Life is a joke .. it never failed to amuse me. So , lets take a break and re-focus and do whatever we want to do when we are able to do.

Full of uncertainties

Our Country have been pledged with many problems since one year ago.  One of the problem is the softness of the global economy and sharply falling of the crude oil price.

With the falling crude oil price which was normally US$120 per barrel , the crude oil price have fallen to below US$50 per barrel and this put a great strain on the finances of Malaysia.  The Ringgit weakens to 3.70 against one US$.

There are other unhappy incidents , the disapperance of RM370, the blasting of MH17 from the sky and the drowning of Air Asia in the South China Sea and all these incidents is damaging to the reputation of our Country.

Apart from the above incidents, we have the 1MDB fiasco which use the tax payers money and the public funds to support this entity financially.  This usage is very wrong and should stop.

Another issue is the introduction of huduh in Kelantan which involves the Malays but this is done in time of a crisis because of the massive flooding which destory many greenfields and also towns in the east coast state. The lack of priority shows the poor mentality of the people in power.

Meanwhile, Nurul Anwar following the release of a survey by EPF which indicates that 80% of the retirees will not be able to support themselves and most of them will have to work until 70 to 75 years old to have an honest living.  The salary scale have not increase for the past 10 years which point to the fact that the productivity of the people have not increase.  An estimate that a retiree needs a saving of RM2 million for their retirement years.

From the above incidents, we can see that the country have so many problems and these incidents have make the current Government unstable as they are in-fightings and backstabbing in the Government control press and the on-line portals.

There are movements to remove certain leaders and this painted a scheming political culture as it is more politics than actual work to improve the economy and the welfare of its Raayat .

Sotong mee rally - 7/3

The " sotong mee" protest - 7/3 ( I am so disgusted with the word "sodomy " so I used "sotong mee".

The day before I was worried that the " sotong mee" will be embarrassing attracting on a few at Sogo.

Nurul , my favorite MP was calling up for support and based on the troubles prevailing in Pakatan, I was fearful of the outcome. Furthermore , LGE was busy and will not be present to rally.

At the start at 2pm on Saturday, the crowds start gather in a few hundreds and finally roll in to thousands and exceed 10,000. The old Pakatan members were not there leaving it mostly to the Gen y . So what if the seniors joined the rally , the numbers will be many folds.

The Government sponsored news claim only 5000 and some ministers said it is a minority. These are the ostrich who poke their heads in the sand and wait for people to kick their ass. Silly ostriches.

It was a trouble free protest and it has proven that the Malaysians are matured and discipline if not provoke unnecessary.

There are only two "sotong mee" cases in Malaysia and both involved the same person.  Only one homosexual in Malaysia ? Ridicules right? So silly.

Where have all flowers gone ?

I am here in Sunway medical centre to see my sick sister in law. She is suffering from cancer.

I could see her getting thinner and thinner as she has difficulties to eat and shit. This is the by-products of the big C but her mind is still clear and her eyes still bright. Recently , she went to Singapore and got a second opinion and she found out the treatment which the Malaysian oncologist prescribed for her is a 10 years past method . Ow ! She has lost 2 months of her valuable time. From the start , she should get a second  opinion from a Singapore oncologist.

As I have read in the papers , Malaysia is suffering a brain drain and it was reported in the Australian press that migration from Malaysia top the ranking as political situation and corruption and religious extremism iare factors pushing Malaysians to make this final decision. I believe that are a lot of Malaysians migrating to Singapore as well. In my list, I have 3 nieces and friends working in Singapore now.

It is not that we have no good doctors but we have only a few. Earning Aussie and S$ and competing among the best is really a motivating factor.

In Malaysia is all about making money first . All the doctors and professionals  are thinking only how to make more more from their patients . One experience I have is with dentist. If my tooth could be save , the dentist need to tell me the options and not just extract my tooth for the RM30. When I consult another dentist that told me that the tooth can be saved. What the ##%¥¥£ with this dentist??

I really wonder where all the professionalism has gone to??

Great wisdom

"The first place we lose the battle is in our own thinking. If you think it’s permanent then it’s permanent. If you think you’ve reached your limits then you have. If you think you’ll never get well then you won’t. You have to change your thinking. You need to see everything that’s holding you back, every obstacle, every limitation as only temporary.
