The Yin Yoga

The Yin Yoga

Yesterday, my yoga class was conducted another Yogi and she ais practicing the Yin yoga. She explained that the nimala yoga Is a yang yoga which build strength in our muscles where as the Yin yoga is the practice of relaxin our muscles into a form. The purpose is to have a totally relaxed body before easing into a form.

This understanding draw parallel to the Chinese martial art which have the hard and soft type. The hard form have hard punches and firm stand while the soft type like Tai Chi is the soft type. The body must be as soft as the water but still keeping a strong internal chi.

The Yin yoga draw the strength from the relax muscles which settles the body into a form. It has the leverage to stretch the muscles and the spine.. It is a force on force and both force finally form a relaxed form with the muscles pulling each other.

The practice  yesterday  was on the rotation of the spine. A six point rotation . The left and right stretching , the up and down  and the twisting of the left and the right side of the spine.

It was a totally different way and it was so slow and relax and we came to understand that we have to alternate this hard and soft form to realize the full potential of yoga.

Making something out of nothing

Making something out of nothing at all.

Only magicians can do it making something ku of thin air. These are highly intelligent people. But   Don't be mistaken there some lowly people who can create a story out of nothing. These lowly people are cowards , making this world a difficult place for all.

The existence of such lowly people is because the world is imperfect and the world need these lowly figures to make life interesting and challenging.

Without the bad , there is no good and vice versa. Only the bad brings out the good just like light showing the existence of darkness. I there is no happiness then there is no sadness. This is Buddha's middle path.

When we say making things out of nowhere, it means that we are creating a story to conspire or framing up a good man or fictitious story make real.

Remember we sow what we reap. The Law of Karma.

Imperfect world - LOL

We are always right and we are perfect.  This is our big ego and we always only know how to criticize and complaint. But, do we really look beyond the surface and get to see the truth. If we attempt to seek the truth , then we understand why this is an imperfect world.

Look at the mirror and be aware of yourself. Be honest and look through ourself and list out a list of our weakness.  Break the big ego and really assess yourself frankly and truly.  If you have a perfect score, you are still bluffing yourself and your ego is still controlling you. Be truthful and see it with a clear eye. If you see imperfection in you then the truth is revealing.

It is no point making us look good to ourself rather knowing your weakness and take measures to ratify it.  Actually, nobody is perfect in this world except GOD or our creator. In some wisebooks, man is created in the image of GOD. So, even GOD is not perfect.

Why bluff yourself and live in  a dream world ? If you do it , you are causing alot of harm and inconvenience to the people besides you because you will be asking for perfection from them. You measure them against a different standard . A standard created by you which it is not even attainable by you. You pull the bar so high that nobody can jump across it while you imagine that you can achieve it. After you try and fell, you will start to adjust the bar lower and you will see you weakenss and your real standard.

If you still don't see the imperfection in you , you are just blind by your ego and your false standard.  Such imaginary perfection , not only add stress to you and others. You will be very unhappy to note that every thing is not achievable and negative. Only if you are aware and know that people are imperfect then you realize their existence and accept their existence.

So , you will understand why that people come to work late, people make mistakes and why there are so many bad people or wicked people on this earth ,etc.  These are the imperfect people living in this imperfect world which is created by these imperfect people.

The earlier you realized such imperfection , the real worl will reveal infront of you and you will be happy and will not feel uncomfortable with the imperfections.

Crab rice at Simpang Ampat, Penang.

Crap rice at simpang Ampat, Penang

Last Sunday , I toolk my family including my sister and brother in law for lunch at the crap rice at simpang Ampat.  I have been there with my boss many years ago and  I wanted to compare to the crap rice which I had last week at Tanjung Bungah.

Comparing the quantity , the crap rice at simpang Ampat was bigger and the crap was more fresh and tastier.  However, the chicken and other dishes were not so good including the vegetables.

Further down simpang Ampat is tambun which is famous for the sea food ie crabs and prawns. Further a bit more is Batu Kawan whch is well known for their seafood congee and porridge.

There are so many sea food outlets around these areas and some serves excellent sea food. Much further down is Bandar Bahru , my favorite sea food hideout. They offer excellent river fish and prawns and at reasonable price。

Back to the crab rice at simpang Ampat. It was not the best but the price is reasonable. For a six person lunch , it cost about Rm274 only with six sea food dishes and chicken.

Am I laughing? Yes,I am.

An I laughing?

Today is not a special day and the topic we  are talking was about underwear and jelly. It was all on the news.

It was a game of it looks like me .talk like me but it us not me. It was same with the joke about superman tag line. It is a bird, no a plane . Yes , it is superman. A funny world.

It is about.business. G-string underwear and pole dance. This will be a good advertisement for the underwear business.

Do we need to wash G-strings ? It is only a few robes mapped together and is it washable ?  There is no stain and it will dry pretty fast. Maybe , it can be used as evidence for whatever.

What color is it? Red. hey! Be careful of the bull. It ramp everything in the way.  All the dirts will fly out and it will stink the whole country. Who cares as long as it can bulldozed through and meet the bull's eye.

Finally , we don't care whether it is used for the front or the back, jelly is necessary. Ass holes.

An Inspiring love - extract

"I was a very rich man. Not with money, but with love"

"I never had a single argument with my wife, but we had lots of debates"

"People are like candles. At any moment a breeze can blow it out, so enjoy the light while you have it."

"Tell your wife that you love her everyday. And be sure to ask her, have I told you that I love you lately?"

Be sure to talk to the elderly. Especially strangers. You may think that you will brighten their day, but you may be surprised that they can actually brighten yours.”

Wasabe Dhaka- The Japanese Restaurant

Dinner at Wasabe .Dhaka

Yes. I am in Bangladesh again and I had dinner at Wasabe  Restaurant in Dhaka.  I think the teppanyaki food is one of the best despite a bit pricey.

The ambiance was nicely done with a waterfall coming down from the roof and transparent glass walk lining the floor. The setting is completely different from the outside which is dusty and lined with massive jams.

As I mentioned in my earlier articles about this restaurant, the chefs are Thai expatriates who works on the teppanyaki tables.

The assortments are comprised of fish, prawns , abalone , chicken , beef ,different type of vegetables and finally end with a fried rice. All the foods are fresh and taste very good.

If you come this way, it is a pity for you to missed it and it is right in the middle of the city .

Namaste to the Food God.

i am in " jail" - in Bangladesh

Have you got this feeling that you are in jail? So suffocating, speechless and choking feeling. Yes, I got this feeling every time, I stayed in Bangladesh. I cannot go out alone and only traveling from my hotel to factory and to the restaurant and every time must remained in a car or traveling in a car.

I have to remain in a box every time.  In my room is a box, in a car is a box , in the factory is a bigger box and in a restaurant is a smaller box. Every movement is in a box although there are so many green lungs in Chittagong.

There is no drainage system in the City and the logic is that water will find their own outlet and level, rubbish are everywhere  as it becomes part of the local culture and the roads are full of dust and air is fill with smog. Any wrong consumption of food will sent us rushing to the toilet in the most awkward times.

There is a set of strict rules to follow when you are in this country .

  1. We can only drink boil  mineral water of certain brand
  2. We cannot walk alone in the open roads due to the surround condition coupled with the smell and the dust
  3. The weather extremely  is hot during summer and extremely cold during the winter but without snow
  4. We can only eat food at certain outlets and food consumed by locals on the streets are only edible due to the immunity of certain bacteria when they grew up from young
  5. Due to dusty conditions, the poor quality of the water , the poor drainage  and finally, the preservative used in the fruits and food, the living conditions become unbearable.
  6. The high cost of living in the City have forced people to live on the streets and causing many people to walk to work and makes free walking on the streets for foreigners a security problem.
In the end, we have to live in boxes and transferring from boxes when we have to live in these conditions mentioned above.

Feeling angry or upset ?

Someone dear to me told me that she is upset.  I told her that this is a choice and it is fully control by our ownself.  I told her why is she killing herself  because getting upset kills millions of our healthy cells. Of course , it can be replaced later but why do we need to tax ourbody over this unhappiness.

We have to take life step by step and if we think of everything at one time, we will not be able to focus and instead the situation will control us as we run out of control.  If we choose each issue to tackle then it will be an easy task. Those problems which we cannot control, we don't have to be angry; Just let it be and hide it way back into our mind and only bring it out when it becomes a priority and when a solution is available.

Worrying can only make us emotional and out of control and leads to unhappiness or making us upset. Does it contribute to solving the problem ? No, definitely , it will only make the situation worst.

We are the master of our own mind and ownself and nothing can make us feel what we do not want to feel. Don't let the emotion of the upset control us and make us hurt others and feel bad about it.

How do we make ourself control our feelings ? This is by awareness. Make ourself aware that we are angry or upset , make ourself aware that we can resolve and control it.  We are firmly in control of our emotions and feelings. Look at the sky or the trees far away and let our lung breath freely and give a moment for our mind to clear itself of the clogged thoughts. Tell ourself, that worrying only consume our energy and sapped our strength and disturb our thoughts. Make us conscious of all these awareness feeling.

Tell ourself, we are the master of our own action , thoughts and feelings and we can control all these aspect of our thoughts.

The inspiration from LUCY, the movie

The inspiration from Lucy

This is a movie called Lucy. I watched it and It starts me thinking of what human will become if our memory increase in usage.

Science now reveal that  normal human being used only 3% of our brain and those extremely intelligent man used 10% and dolphins used 20% I their brain capacity. At 10% we could see what some human beings can do ie like bending spoon with our brain power or making things out of thin air.

The movie Lucy open our imagination to see what human beings can do when the usage of their brain increases.
The story is about a normal women who was forced to be a drug mull  for some brain enhancing drugs and during the process there was an attempt rape which rupture the package in her  stomach.

The story goes on to show how she become very  skillful in her fighting skill , a sharp shooter and could have power hearing ability and enormous strength as the brain keep increasing her ability at 50% ,60% and until 100%.

As her physic and human form changed when the brain ability increases, it reached a maximum  capacity   Her whole body disintegrate and she was everywhere just like GOD.

On the modern day research , scientist are changing our life and maybe one day we can be a kent use drugs to expand our thinking capacity and make the human race full superior benga. In that time, it would be a different life all together.

Lying in bed - thinking

Lying in bed

Feeling very tired and sleepy. In  younger days , I stayed past 12 midnight and sleep only for 3 or 4 hours  to freshen up myself and go to work.  I was able to focus and do my job the next day. As string as an ox.

Now at these twilight years , I yawn at 9pm and want to hit my bed at 9.30 pm and go through an uneven sleep before waking up tomorrow at 7am and feeling tired.

Yes, it is aging process.  Many old people catch a short nap through the day and at nght, they are struggling to sleep. Even though , their sleep is more than eight hours
In a day, their sleeping hours are never enough

There are few choice to live beyond the waning age ie to accept it gracefully, or to delay the aging or some kind of compromise between the options.

I have seen a  video on my face book that showed a 81 years old man pumping iron and he still maintain a superb physic and strength. He could carry heavy iron during his training , pumping on his five fingers and lifting himself up with his legs and hands on a side bar, etc. he still  has HS power although his head is full of white hair and his face showed his age.

I have mentioned in my earlier article of seeing a 60 + yoga teacher having a enormous amount of energy. Yes, we can defeat aging by exercise the way we want if. We may die in the process but if is our choice and our passion .

Ten health food for strength - extract

As a personal trainer, most of my clients exhibit this behavior: they train hard, but they don’t give a heck about nutrition. So the time and effort they spend on training is wasted. Why? Because they think nutrition is complicated and they avoid the topic. I understand perfectly, because I used to be like that as well.

But we need to train smart. This means knowing how nutrition works and how to utilize it for your own fitness and strength gains. This works for anyone and everyone, be it for general fitness maintenance or muscle mass gain.
To get you started, here is my list of the top ten foods to help you gain more muscle mass and strength:
1. Lean Beef
This should be a STAPLE of your diet if you want to gain muscle mass. Why? Because it is loaded with all sorts of things conducive to muscle growth. On average, a three-ounce serving of lean beef is only 154 calories, yet it provides ten essential nutrients, including iron, zinc and B-vitamins. More importantly, it provides your body with high quality protein (not all proteins are equal), and a high level of amino acid that works with insulin to promote muscle growth. For those who are trying to lose weight, this should come as great news – a 3 ounce serving of lean beef provides roughly the same amount of protein as 1.5 cups of beans, but at half the calories.
2. Skinless Chicken
Like beef, it is an excellent source of high quality protein, which is important for muscle maintenance and repair, bone health, and weight maintenance. And of course, there are so many ways you can cook and prepare chicken. Go down to the store and you can easily find chicken meat cut into single serving sizes that can be seasoned and quickly cooked.
3. Cottage Cheese
Not many people know this, but cottage cheese constitutes relatively pure casein protein. For those who don’t know, casein protein is a slow-digesting protein, which means it is perfect for muscle maintenance. This is useful especially for guys who have no choice but to go long periods without eating. Not forgetting, cottage cheese is also an excellent source of vitamin B12, calcium, and other important nutrients. My advice: buy the nonfat/low-fat versions.

4. Eggs
Eggs contain high quality protein, nine essential amino acids, choline, the right kind of fat, and vitamin D. To sum it up, they are the most value for money. And please note, eggs are not harmful for your health, as numerous studies have already shown.
5. Whey Protein
There is a reason why whey protein supplements are the most popular supplement in the bodybuilding world: because they provide a fast and convenient source of protein at an affordable price. Bodybuilders normally use them when they wake up, right after their workout, and mixed with some of their meals. However, for those of us non-bodybuilders, simply using it right after our workouts can be very effective for muscle mass gains. Do not rely on it completely though. It’s more important to get high quality protein from whole foods, and use whey protein as a boost. There’s so much more about whey protein, if you want to find out more, click hereto read a comprehensive article I have written on how to best benefit from it.
6. Tuna and Other Fish
High in protein, low in fat, and rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The key here is omega-3 fatty acids. They are essential, not only for health reasons, but also because they improve fat loss and ensure the proper function of your body processes, such as your metabolism.
7. Oatmeal
Oatmeal is an ideal source of carbs due to both its low glycemic index (GI) value and the fact it is minimally processed. The benefits of a low GI diet are as follows:
– Better micronutrient profile and more fiber
– Increased satiety
– Decreased hunger
– Lower subsequent energy intake (second meal effect)
– Fat loss
In short, enhanced fat loss for those looking to lose weight, and a constant source of carbs for muscle preservation.
8. Whole Grains
Whole grains digest more efficiently and provide more nutrients than refined grains, and as such promote sustained energy levels and overall health. For instance, brown rice can help boost your growth hormone levels, which are critical for encouraging lean muscle growth, fat loss, and strength gains.
9. Fruits and Vegetables
Firstly, fruits and vegetables are a rich source of antioxidants, which are essential for the healthy functioning of your immune system. Secondly, they provide tons of other nutrients, such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene. Finally, your body requires the fiber these fruits and vegetables provide, which helps to flush out the substances your body does not need.
10. Healthy Fats
I know some of you shudder at the thought of consuming fats, but good fats are essential for muscle growth. In fact, they play an essential role in hormone production (testosterone and growth hormones) that is responsible for muscle growth and strength gains. Your metabolic rate is elevated as well, which helps you shed more fats. In addition, fats are needed for many important maintenance functions. Polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats are the good fats. You can find them in salmon, other fishes, nuts, leafy veggies, oils such as flaxseed, avocados, and seeds. They are also all rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

I met LKS via firefly

I was flying back from KL to Penang via firefly and I saw LKS.  The bigger than screen , YB Lim Kit Siang.  Some of the passenger at the waiting lounge went over to take photo with him and I also took courage to went over YB and request to take a photo with him. He obliged and asked me to walk closer to him.

I grew up along LKS when he was with DAP and his once youthful look have became aged and old. This is the normal process of aging but his passion in politics has never diminished.  His party DAP grew from a small base  to a big party now and the party have suffered several rounds of troubles and with a group of anti-LKS plotting to kick him out but he survived and even become more stronger.

He has been a symbol of strength and he speak out against dirty politics and corruption during his long years in politics together with his deceased partners,. Plato and Karpal Singh. He seems to be lonely with Karpal Singh but he still managed and maybe more exhausting now than before.

Luckily, he has his son , LGE  ie Lim Guan Eng who is the chief minister of Penang.  His family is so committed to politics that both of them have been in and out of jail and detention center.  Maybe this is the fate of politicians who is passionate for justice.

After taking picture with him and when I turned back to walk back to my seat, I could see the people looking at me and smile.  I do not know what they are thinking and what is their smile means.  Are they smiling because LKS have become a super star or are they smiling because I am an opposition supporter. Whatever they are thinking , I don't mind as each of us must have our own bearing and choice.

I have been an opposition supporter in my past few election and I believe in a two party system where there is check and balance equilabrium.  I hope LKS can continue after the GE14 and help to provide a more stable and fair governance to the country.

Big Ben in Hartamas, KL

Yesterday, I was in KL for a meeting and we had lunch at Hartamas , Raku zen, a Japanese restuarant. I remembered that I have been to this place and I went to Big Ben outlet in the same mall.

Big Ben have a very good concept that they provide a wet and fruit market section and their fruits and vegetables were bright and fresh while they also have an eatery, a wine section and tit bits corner selling all sorts of items.

The price of the food could be a bit more pricey from Penang but some of the variety of fruits and tib bits cannot be found in Penang.

It feels very comfortable and good to be in such a surrounding of natural food. All types of food and it is as if you are in a natural farm.

The peach were big, the tomatos were bright red, the apples looks appealing while the mixed fruit drinks were delicious and healthy.

A good place to wonder if you are in this mall.

Happy shopping.

The art of expression - showing the real you.

There are so many forms of expression.  By words, by actions, by facial expression, by our eye contacts, by our body language , by the tone of our voice, by associating with people ,etc.

If we express by words, we have to choose the words nicely and more appropriately and words together with the tone and loudness can make a different expression.  Words can be expressed like music to the ear or in a rough manner and this project different meaning even the same word is used.

By actions, if we mince our words together with our actions and it could also project a different meaning to the words or senting a wrong message. The way we stand, our hand signals , our facial expressions or body language and the dress we wear could also have an impact on our expression.

Our facial expression is the worst indicator in our expression.  Whether we can speaking the truth or acting or pretentious or emotional , the face is the most difficutl expression to control.  It is because we cannot see our face and our face expression is influenced by emotions and inner thoughts and feelings. When we speak in anger, our facial expression will follow that anger and to emphasize the words. Our words will be loud, our face will be dark and fiece. All thing move in the same package and we cannot control our voice, words and face.

Next is our eyes.  The expression in our eyes and when we are sad , the tears will flow and when we are angry , the eyes will widen out and when we are in love, the eyes will become small and misty. If we speak the truth, our eyes will winkle non stop. So, if we look into the eyes, the speaker will be fearful and will reveal more truth or falsehood.

By our body language. Our hands will tremble or swing wildly, our eyes will turn red, our body will be distored when we are angry and our words will come out very fast or slow depending on the body condition and our face will sweat while our hands will be sweaty.

By the tone of our voice.  There are many people who have very good bassy tones and even when they are angry , their tone is also very nice but some people have natural nasty voice which is squaky and sharp which is pain to the year and only a few words could arouse the anger in the listner.  This is very true and we have to realize which type we belong to. Some people when they talk, their voice and body language will betray them and will show out their pretentious nature.

Finally or at least the last form, is that people join the certain crowds to show definace and their unpleasantness. This is a stuble form of expression and as a silent protest.

There are so many forms of expression and many mixture of the various characteristics. It is impossible to master all these expressions and if we do, we are the GREAT PRETENTERS.

To let go or not ?

Most of the times, we are confused and uncertain what is the decision to make relating to personal relationships.  I have a daugther M who is having a bias view on personal relationships. She is very upset and angry with my brother in law's girlfriend because she blamed her for the broke up in his family.  But, their relationship have been terminated even before his girl friend came into the picture.

My brother-in-law and his wife have decided to separate and he is already thinking of living in a old folks home before his old girl friend came back to him.  He is so lonely and was making himself busy by engaging with his friends and buddies. I think when he is in that stage of relationship, it is better to separate and why hold on to make the concerned members unhappy ?

I told my daughter that to hold on to  a family together is most important but if it is becoming a problem and so painful, it is better to live separately as it will be the best for everyone. There is no meaning to hold the relationship together if there is so much bad blood. We can still be friend and a family even if the relationship is sour and broken in spirit. It is our choice.

But by blindly holding on at all course and lost in logic, it is a silly thing to do.  By staying together by just staying together is a foolish thing to do. Togetherness is not by physical presence but it must in spirit and compassion.

There is a saving which is very meaningful "

" Stop holding on to the wrong people ,
Let them go on their own way,
If not for you , then is for them. "

Praying for our sins

Praying for our sins

My daughter M wrote a short comment about praying for our sins.  Can prayer erase all our sinful acts? She mentioned that it is better not to carry out a sinful act and after that pray for God's forgiveness.  The sinful acts will registered in our book of life to be mentioned on judgement day.

I was amazed at her thoughts and I believe it is quite true . Can we repent on our sins ? I believe it is only a make belief that if we repent and our sins will be forgiven but rather our sinful acts will haunt us for the rest of our life.

In another angle , can our good deeds negate the sins that we have done? Can one good deed cancel away a bad deed ?  I believe  we  cannot carry out such simple calculations. The law of karma does not work this way. You have to pay for your bad deeds and no amount of good deeds can erase away the bad deeds. These sins will be registered forever in out book of life. My daughter is absolutely correct to say that we should not do sinful things and later beg for forgiveness.

I don't know what are the sinful things my daughter have done and I know her awareness and realization will defer her to commit any sinful acts. What is done is done and we can only look forward to the future.

It is good to be home...

It is so good to be home

After a seven days away from home , it is great to be home. Just resting and relaxing on my sofa and doing nothing. The feeling is that a big burden is off my back for the moment. I keep my mind of another possible trip in the future ahead and stay in the moment for a while.

It is not that the trip is bad but rather an enriching experience. I came  back like a grown man and bearing another star on my shoulder. Nobody can take that experience from me and it stays in my life forever.not has became part of my journey through life.

I have learned that life is not a destination to another destination but the while process itself. Every moment in our life is important to us and we should live in the moment . All the dots of time which we go through doing nothing or doing something.

Meeting with people is also an experience and it has a purposive and whether we stay longer or shorter with him is our  choice  and Whether the relationship blossom or grow is also our choice. So people said that it is pre-destined bit I think it is a choice. It makes life more interesting.

Whatever happen along the way is a experience and we learn and got enriched for it. It is no such thing as a good or bad experience but rather an experience for us to go through. We maybe upset at such incidences but we should take it positively that it is a new thing in life. Sometimes, the events seem uncontrollable and just get roll on. Let it be , it will be over I can assure you.

Let's life unfold , Come what may. Live it well and we should roll over it in our own way.

Africa -Ethiopia : Awasa (final)

Africa'- Ethiopia Awasa

This is a remote area in Ethiopia where everything is nature and people living happily even if  in poverty.
There is a very beautiful big lake and it is very much untouched. There is also a very beautiful resort by the lake and everything is so basic.

The town have about 400,000 people and we can see goats , horses ,cows , donkeys ,etc on the fields and on the road. It takes about 5 hours to travel from Addis Ababa , the capital of Ethiopia but on a light plane , it takes on 4o minutes. The whole town is a big epieces of flat land and the air is fresh and the water is clean. At a temperature of 16% C all the year round . It is another heaven on earth and it reminds me of Switzerland when I was walking along a lake front under Sunshine at a oil temperature looking at the ice capped Alps.

In the place , it is still sunshine and at a cool temperature but among nature and slums. The people are poor here  but they are happy and contented people who live a simple life. The food served in the hotel was reasonably good when I was there.

If you want to be away from the city life and want to be back in nature, this would be the ideal place for you.

On the way to Africa - 6 ( delayed)

On the way to Africa - 6 ( delayed)

I was waiting at the airport for my flight on my way home to addis when the announcement  inform is that would be delay in our flight . All the passenger starts to wake up from their sleep and advance to the guard standing at the gate.

Everyone enquirer the guard  for the timing of the next flight but he answered coolly , " I am like you" ,I don't know. What can we say ?

From the moment , we touch down in Djibouti, the immigration offer already make us upset. We have to pay US$60 for the visa fee at the VIP counter , the immigration officer already showed us the black face. If he is under my employment , I would kick him out. At the payment counter, another guy was so strict with is that we shook our head in disbelief. Why are they charging us and give us their poker faces. Why they think we owe them?

I could have given them a four letter word but I refrain . Refrained from trouble. My main purpose is to get out of this place and never
Want to come back again.

The whole trip through the immigration was so frustrating . And making want to get out as soon as possible.

They served tip bits for is to relieve our hunger but did nothing to pacify our anger. No proper announcement to inform us  the time of our flight and make us suffer in pain due to the  uncertainty.

I hope that  this trip is the first and last time for me to visit this dreadful country.

On the way Africa -5 ( Djibouti)

on the way to Aftica - 5 Djibouti

This is a former French colony and have a population of 800,000 and have a strategic port for Ethiopia. Without the port this could be one of God forsaken place.

The sky is always sunny throughout the year with three days of rainfall for 45 minutes each. The highest temperature is 49% c and lowest is 29 % C. So, the temperature is hot all the while. Humid and hot.

It is almost like desert and they have camels on the field and roads and the land is almost barren. What can we do there except swimming and sun bathing. Even that is abit too hot.

I did not know the country before my 2nd visit to Ethiopia . The island country host three army bases ie US, France and Japan on a anti- terrorism agreement to protect their cargo going through the Panama Canal.

So, who on earth with right mind will come to this place for holidays?  But there a lot of young French tourist who come here for swimming and sun tan. But the port is the Main  Revenue earner and could help to provide funding to this small country. One more nasty news , the visa on arrival is Us$60 on entry whose than the fee to go In the Sands casino in Singapore.

Absurd.
